I was doing an internship at one of the biggest shoe retailers in The Netherlands. Unfortunately the internship was awful. I went to work everyday feeling rubbish. So I decided to quit. Now I have half a year of delay in my studies and am working full time at amusement park the Efteling which I love. So although quitting my internship sucks, I love working at the Efteling full time and I am much happier now. :)
I spend a lot of time in the house (nerve damage and chronic pain from surgery) but honestly, your videos give me life (as you would say!!) thanks so much xx
Ive got the last few weeks of medical school! So our final clinical exam is just round the corner and then graduation! Im super excited because it just feels like all the work and time we've all put in for 5 years is finally coming to fruition. But im also nervous to start working as a junior doc come August, finally out in the real world! Ohhhh its bittersweet :)
I just defended my master thesis this past sunday and it feels amazing, im graduating this May and currently waiting for my PhD admission respond from one of the universities😁 so this is a quick summary of what’s going on in my life! BTW I loved this video😌🌸
I just went to France on a week vacation with my ex, we broke up literally on the way to France. We still had a great time though. We were together for two years so I'm currently working on moving forward. I do think it was for the best :).
I cried during a restorative class as well. It shocked the heck out of me! I was going through a bit of a tough time and out of nowhere the tears just fell and they wouldn’t stop! Certain poses (like hip openers) often invoke tears as certain parts of our body hold emotions (so crazy!). It’a interesting to hear how other people get emotional in these types of classes.
Hi Amelia! I started doing restorative yoga after my divorce and it has been SO helpful! You have to let that anxiety rise up and notice it. Let it pass through you. Without judgment. It's really really hard!!! But after a few sessions (I can only do twice a month) it is really intense. You are absolutely correct on that!!! And girl, go out with your hair mask lol. You do you. Much love from San Diego!
thanks for asking. i live in Toronto and am working on my big garden. I decided today, even though I want to do it all by myself and be inspired by Monty Don and Adam Frost, that I need some help with the spring clean up and early planting jobs. Doesn't seem like a big decision but for me it was because it's my passion/baby. good luck with your wedding plans. i am loving the dress videos. J
just quit my job and moved on to something better and can not be more happy and proud. Was really not motivated in life anymore so after a long time I'm able to get up and be me again. I'm also planning a wedding so I completely understand the level of stress you are going trough :) love watching your vlogs! xo
Amelia, I am from Boston and three years ago my skin on my legs would get really dry to the point that when I would shave my legs they would end up become ingrown when they grew. So I am over here Googleing and TH-caming to find anything that can help me, where I eventually came across your TMI video. After watching that video and trying some of your tips I decide to watch more videos from you and I got hooked with keeping up with Amelia Liana's beauty tips, to foods, to clothing, to your everyday daily life. Now I am in my last year at Boston University where I am finally graduating with a degree in Biology and English. It is funny how normally you finish in 4 years but because I decided to major into two different subjects and it took me 5 years which makes it feel like a lifetime and I am so happy to finally be finishing. Your vlogs are awesome keep doing what you are doing love it.
I'm trying to figure out what kind of job I want (I just graduated & I think I want to work in museums or with kids) and where I want to live. I'm from California but I went to school on the East Coast and a lot of my friends are over there. I would miss my family and the sunshine and the mountains so much if I moved back east but I miss being near my friends so much right now. Its so hard when this country is SO. Big. Lots of love Amelia, you always make me smile.
Over the next 4 weeks I have 8 exams, 10 research papers to hand in & a few oral presentations. All of which counts for my final grade since I'm in my last year of undergrad in political science (in a French uni). I am SO stressed out and exhausted I catch myself procrastinating out of fear, mostly by cleaning my flat lol But I know I can do this & I'm very grateful that my main occupation rn consists of learning & analysing things, it is a privilege. To all of you who have stressful and busy weeks ahead of you : wish you the best of luck ! You can do it 😉✊ In one way or another you'll get over this
Thank you for asking about your fans! So nice! I’m raising my almost 3-year-old daughter with my husband and started working part-time recently. I love the work and the people! I’m also taking a mindfulness parenting class. I’m not really into meditation but I have to admit it does help. I never had a wedding even though I always dreamed of one. We went to city hall. But it was no less intense and real. So watching you wedding dress shopping/planning is a dream. You look so beautiful in the dresses! Best wishes!
I just started art classes again, I love to paint! I sit in my home office and find loads for my husband (truck driver) most days, I thought I would like to do something while I'm looking at a load board all day, now I have a little cart beside my desk and paint while I work.
I’m getting married NEXT SATURDAY!! My fiancé and I have been together 9 years and we’re doing a mid-morning ceremony followed by a brunch reception. So excited!! Happy Wedding Planning to you and Rob!
This was so useful to see how you plan out your week on a Sunday when you don't have anyone to define your week for you! Would love to see a video on that if possible :)
something about me: My husband and I are building our very own house. we helped the contractor everyday after word en in the weekends, did our own electrical work, water supply and drains, isolation, ... . We are in the final part of our building process and will be moving in july.
I know exactly how you feel in terms of being alone with your thoughts. I recently made the decision to leave my corporate job in NYC and move to LA. I’ve been working through a lot of emotions and it can be really overwhelming and scary. Your videos comfort me so much. Thanks for being the best. xx
I’m graduating this month with my undergraduate degree in economics! And then I have my 24th birthday this summer and begin law school in the fall. Making big moves in 2019!
Love hearing you speak about wedding planning. I got married last year and I miss the planning a little bit. As for what’s happening in my life, today I am six months pregnant. That’s about it. Lol
I am marking assignments as I watch you get ready and try on dresses, just cooked lunch including rice of course and just enjoying a quiet day at home.
Currently I'm in university studying environmental science and sustainability (water testing, policymaking, food security) I have two years left & in the meantime I freelance write and do photography for friends & family! ❤ xoxo
I am going through a breakup of a four year relationship. OUt of nowhere he just said he wanted to end it all. I am having my moments but I have to say seeing you go through your wedding planning and everything else it just gives me so much hope. Thank you so much for sharing your content.
I am a mom of two. I am going to school . Juggling motherhood and school is not easy. Watching you is very refreshing. I am a French speaker and I am glad you are learning the language.

I wish I could say they motivate me because you are always go go go and so busy and I’m in college full time and work full time and thought I was over worked but no, that’s you honey! Seems like you have a good balance though. Well done love ❤️❤️
Hey lovely, I am in my second semster at the moment, it has just begun this week, of American and English Studies. Currently trying to better my social anxiety. I'm pretty much always stressed when I need to leave the house (I live in a city and a very crowded area) and when I'm finally outside. It's though but I'm beginning to like myself the way I am. It's who I have become and I don't think I have to change. Your openness and friendliness and especially your ability to comfortably be yourself inspires me a lot! Weird sending this message into the endless abyss that is the internet, I'll stop now :D. Lovely video as always! Lots of love. Edit: No need to feel bad for me btw, I enjoy being myself, wouldn't trade it for anything.
This is my favourite smoothie recipe, it's so yummy and so healthy! I went from almost never having breakfast to having this for breakfast every single day! The recipe: 1 frozen banana, 1 and a half cups of almond milk (or whatever milk you prefer), 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, 1 tablespoon of cacao powder, 1 tablespoon of maca powder (not essential but great for energy and stress!), 1 tablespoon of chia seeds (soaked for at least 20 minutes or overnight - I soak in about 5 tablespoons of almond milk), and I also throw in some flavourless collagen powder. It honestly tastes like a dessert but helps so much with my digestion and energy levels :)
I’ve just finished reading Oprah’s book today and pondering daily about moving to a new country - new environment, new perspective, new experiences 🌚 I would like to hear you talk about your experience with dealing with anxiety. I’ve been wanting to do yoga to help me with my accident ptsd but just the thought of being still freaks me out just as you describe, I find it hard to relax my mind and body
I'm currently revising for my A level exams that are coming up scarily soon. I take History and English Lit and English Language and I need 3 A's to get into the Uni I want to go to! Fingers crossed it will all work out okay :)
I came across your channel last year when I had some minor surgery and had to be out of work for a few weeks. Although I’m much older than your viewers, I became enthrall with your fashion and mAkeup but mostly your family and lifestyle. I think you’re incredibly sweet and articulate and enjoy all your content. As for me, I just sort of semi-retired from a management position in hospital social work and now have more time to do things I haven’t had time to do. I have taken up painting and am trying to learn bFrench and Italian.
I once started crying during barre class. I was going through a very difficult time and I felt like I was drowning in my anxiety and thoughts all week and couldn't focus on one thing then it started coming out during that day in class. It happens, I guess when don't let our minds to relax or take break, these sort of things comes out in odd times. I don't know if I make any sense, but I thought I would share.
oooh I see. I'm on maternity leave with my second baby. We are planning to do a huge renovation of our house which has been fun. I have been picking out tiles, cabinets, flooring and all that good stuff.
Working at three different settings, two hospitals and one clinic. Trying to find some stability in my career and what to focus on. Aside from that, traveling to Victoria BC for the Easter weekend which will be fun!
I'm getting married next month and in the process of buying an apartment. It's a lot! I'm trying to balance taking care of myself and prepping so I look and feel good at the wedding, with everything that's going on. I'd love to go to a yoga class and get dinner with a friend like Estee!!
I'm a farmer and we're just at the end of lambing and I'm looking after 14 pet lambs, I also have a husband and two children (teens 😣) a dog, horse and I'm also helping with a friend's buisness so busy, busy but all good. Xx
I'm in my 9th month of pregnancy with only two weeks to go, I went for casual swim to do my weekly exercise and managed to bust my back and pelvis. I've been in excruciating pain and currently need all round care sitting, standing, lying down, walking, going to pee - basically everything! So it hasn't been such a good week for me and watching your vids help my bed rest time go by quicker whilst everyone I know is away on easter holidays! :) Fingers crossed baby stays in a little longer whilst I recover! P.S you we still super stunning in your 2014 vids
I’m working in pre-school and I love it!! I am a special need teacher and I wouldn’t change it for the world! I tried your rose recipe and it was a success! 😘
I’m travelling today to go wedding dress shopping tomorrow! 😁 I live in the middle of nowhere so I need to drive four hours to the nearest big-ish city. I’m so excited!
Currently on Easter break at home at my parents house to escape a time filled with nothing but uncertainty and last minute uni stress. Uncertainty job wise, what and where I'll be this summer, if I'm gonna stay in a long distance relationship, my master thesis ect.
Hi Amelia! Thank~You for sharing all that you do! Here’s a little something about me, I’m American & my boyfriend is British, we’ve been together for almost seven years. He still lives in England, and I still live in New England. In fact, he’s currently visiting me. He’s from Leeds. One things for certain, long distance relationships are very hard. When we see each other in person it’s beautiful, FaceTiming helps with the distance. Even with that, it’s hard. Watching your relationship with Rob, is so beautiful. I never knew eating curry was such a huge thing over where you live, Amelia. Do you eat Curry’s? Is it a regional thing or a English thing in general eating Curry’s? I ask, because he lives so far up in the northern region. I love sitting in silence, in a quiet place with my own thoughts. Those tears show you’re emotional, Amelia. Being emotional is a beautiful gift of being in touch with things that are important & close too you. It’s a place of self love.
Great video and love that your posting more! For smoothies, my favorite combo with all frozen fruit is: bananas, strawberries, pineapple, raspberries, blueberries, mangos, half an avocado, 1/2 cup of almond milk. Blend until smooth.
gonnnna shower, exfoliate and sit with a tea and watch this, ur vlogs are my absolute fav! i love love love how down to earth and kind you are, its like meditation before bed - hope that didn't sound too strange. keep doing you, youre fabuuulouus !!
Such a calm and real vlog. Really enjoyed it, it's like listening to a friend what their day was like. Enjoying your content in the moment so so much! Love from Belgrade, Serbia xx
Watching you on Friday, finished a rough week at work, re-thinking my work position since I feel my personal integrity is in jeopardy here. Nothing too drastic, I just don't like the way this is heading to if continued (been there, done that, was hoping this time this job is better). Sorry to be a little more a downer, but I got in a better mode while watching your video. You give me joy, you know :) thank you Amelia
The best way to get good at a language is to practice! Which can be scary and embarrassing I know. I learned Russian for my boyfriend's family (his grandparents don't speak English) and I improved by leaps and bounds once I was brave enough to actually practice with them. I kind of had no choice if I wanted to have a conversation with them and now I'm near fluent. You can do it :)
My husband and I eloped in Manhattan. Even though it was just us we still faced each other so we could look at each other. Very special and it made us more emotional about the ceremony. 🤗
Mayim Bialik has explained in one of her videos what happens emotions-wise when practicing yoga :) Basically, (if I understood it correctly) yoga activates the part of your muscles that holds memories, so when you're doing yoga you're revisiting experiences and feelings.
Watched this while waiting for my flight. Strongly related to the emotional reaction from your yoga class. Sometimes you just gotta have a moment to cry. X
I once missed an international train because I thought 20:00 was 10pm! It was the last train of the day and I'd already gotten rid of my currency and sim card! On a different note, love the sound of that yoga class, sounds very therapeutic. And love seeing you with your hair up!
Brekkie smoothie that I learned from Carly Rowena actually: banana, oats, milk and coffee (I do 2 Nespresso shots), blend together and I usually leave it overnight in the fridge and drink it the next morning while doing my makeup 💋
Fun fact, I used to be a junior working at Daniel Galvin, I remember seeing you get your hair done and I was so tempted to come up to you and say hi (I was 16 at the time so 3 years ago) but never got the chance as I’d get told off if I mentioned anything to do with your public profile. You seem so lovely I wish I wasn’t in my work uniform so we could chat 😂😂 here I am pursuing my youtube career & no longer working their 😅❤️
Looking forward to spending a week in Tucson Arizona and just relaxing. I bet your French is better than you give yourself credit for, so chill. I can't wait to see what your mom and sister wear to your wedding and of course your gown.
Okay, about me: I’m 22 and currently going through a recent break up. I’m extremely lonely and miss my best friend (he was my best friend) and now I’m just trying to find myself again and get through this without bursting into tears every hour 😢 asides from that, I’m in uni and studying for my exams next month whilst simultaneously write 3 essays!
You are hysterical with telling the time at the end! I'm going to put it down to tiredness and the yoga/meditation which has over-relaxed you 🤣🤣 A little something about what's going on with me - we're going on a 7 week holiday to Australia and New Zealand later in the year, and today I bought a YSL bag to take on that trip. Squeeeeeeee!!!
Lydiaelliemillen had described this before where you just need silence . I think its great that you cried. I thought this video was so zen. I've tried yoga but I feel like my mind doesn't stop. I'm going to try yin yoga and see if I can get that emotional release where I'm floating in tears.
I'm currently 1 day away from a huge anatomy and physiology exam in my second year of uni!! I've been in the thick of exam season right now but I've just got two left and then summer break!! Looking forward also to my new golden retriever puppy coming home in May so I've gotta get my house puppy proofed as well! Loved the vlog as usual, I remember 2 years ago when I first discovered your channel I binge watched all your vlogs and it was such a huge stress relief so I've been doing that during exams as well for a study break and thank you so much !!
Watching your vlogs always puts me in such a good mood because you’re so authentic! Was wondering if you could do a newbie to TH-cam/blogging video with suggestions, what you’ve learnt and whether it’s worth it 😁it would be great to hear from you! Oh and if you ever get the chance maybe an updated how I edit my Instagram pictures. Just some random things I wanted to say😁have an amazing Easter weekend ♥️
I think it was so sweet for u to ask us to tell u something! Well.. I'm a 47 yr old mommie of 2. Living in the US. I've been watching you for years! Love your vlogs! So happy for you what an exciting time in life for you! ❤️
Hi Amelia, my husband and I live up in Nottingham, I’m a nurse, we also spend a lot of time in South Kensington at the Royal Brompton Hospital as my husband has to go there. We love coming down to London it feels like home. I really do enjoy watching your videos and I do like looking at familiar places in your vlogs. Xxxxx
The first times i went to yoga that crying thing happens to me too..i thought i was the only one..beeing alone with your toughts and in complete silence gets me like this too! :)
I have recently started to implement 'real' sun protection into my morning routine as I've read numerous times that the SPF in make up products isn't actually as effective as claimed ... :/
We are waithing for IVF, building a house and planning a wedding for next year. It`s a lot but with my man we can do anything we decide. Love seing your weddingplanning videos.
I love setting my Netflix to French audio with English subtitles! I find that Pretty Little Liars is so much more intriguing and charming in French, for example. :)
It’s not anxiety! You’re a Gemini! We are notorious for being over thinkers, fast thinkers....and worst we think up every possible outcome before it’s even happened. What probably made you cry is the fact that as a Gemini you are the best at being the ever-happy one. You can conceal how you feel like a pro. It’s probably just your inner thoughts coming out, as they have the time to reveal themselves when you finally have a pause in your day ☺️☺️
I was doing an internship at one of the biggest shoe retailers in The Netherlands. Unfortunately the internship was awful. I went to work everyday feeling rubbish. So I decided to quit. I will be 65 in November and I’m a granny but I love watching you. I love glam!
I am a 50 year did grandmother and I have been watching her from the beginning. She's a breath of fresh air and inspiration.
I spend a lot of time in the house (nerve damage and chronic pain from surgery) but honestly, your videos give me life (as you would say!!) thanks so much xx

24 hour clock trick! Start counting from noon, therefore subtract 12 from the numbers! E.g. It is 22:00, so 22-12 =10. It is 10 pm!
don't even understand that it could be difficult to understand, no calculations needed hehhheee, always 24 hour clock;)
MzAnzu not everyone lives in countries that uses that system of telling time.

+Lauren Kate omg yum thank you Lauren!
@@amelialiana You're welcome! Hope you like it if you end up making it :)
I just moved into a new place - its been a little over a week! I love it and it's the first time I've lived alone. I so enjoyed this vlog, thanks 💜
Good luck
+Norah Abdullah aww thank you so much for making me feel not alone Norah! I appreciate it!
That class sounds amazing. I'm kinda jealous actually. Sounds very calming kind of like a detox for your soul.
Getting ready to submit my dissertation! Its a study of Greco-Roman attitudes towards cosmetic use and attitudes towards beauty! Loved the vlog x
Amelia i have been following you for like 5 years and I have to say I have never enjoyed your videos more! lots of love from Milan!
+selenamarghi aww you’re so lovely thank you so much!!!
Currently on Easter break at home at my parents house to escape a time filled with nothing but uncertainty and last minute uni stress. Uncertainty job wise, what and where I'll be this summer, if I'm gonna stay in a long distance relationship, my master thesis ect.
I am currently on a gap year and applying to medical school. I also just completely redecorated my bedroom!
I love restorative yoga! I’ve only taken a few classes but an hour and a half of it would make me a bit nervous.
Im taking a break from studying for my finals!! Your positive attitude really helps me stay positive!!
And something about me, because you asked....well you knooow, just trying to sort my life out lol xD
You and Estee in the thumbnail...clickety, click, click!!!☺️😌💕
I’m on vacations. I went to the beach. Stayed near the beach with some friends this week, ate amazing food. It was lovely.
I'm happy for you getting married and I'm having final master exam in law and I'm just watching your video 😢😢
Have nice day
Brekkie smoothie that I learned from Carly Rowena actually: banana, oats, milk and coffee (I do 2 Nespresso shots), blend together and I usually leave it overnight in the fridge and drink it the next morning while doing my makeup 💋
In the last 6 months I bought a house with my boyfriend and started a new job! Feels like a new life almost, in the best way
Fun fact, I used to be a junior working at Daniel Galvin, I remember seeing you get your hair done and I was so tempted to come up to you and say hi (I was 16 at the time so 3 years ago) but never got the chance as I’d get told off if I mentioned anything to do with your public profile.
You seem so happy Amelia and I am happy for you x
My go to smoothie: a handful or 2 of baby spinach, frozen berries, coconut water or cranberry juice. Dairy free and delicious
You are hysterical with telling the time at the end! I'm going to put it down to tiredness and the yoga/meditation which has over-relaxed you 🤣🤣
A little something about what's going on with me - we're going on a 7 week holiday to Australia and New Zealand later in the year, and today I bought a YSL bag to take on that trip. Squeeeeeeee!!!
So, fact, whenever I go shopping and need inspiration I always turn to your TH-cam/Insta - Thanks for great content!!
Lydiaelliemillen had described this before where you just need silence . I think its great that you cried. I thought this video was so zen. I've tried yoga but I feel like my mind doesn't stop. I'm going to try yin yoga and see if I can get that emotional release where I'm floating in tears.
Have you watched "Call my agent" on Netflix? Its great!!!! And in french!
CEST VRAI
The hookup plan on Netflix is great too! & in french :)
I tried 0 wedding dresses - I ordered a gown online and it turned out to be amazing!
About to graduate from University. It's been a long time coming, but it is finally happening!
Same! Congrats girl, exciting times ahead! Xx

Xxxxx
I think you look the same as baby Amelia!! So, no cringe!
About me: starting at a new job next monday!! 😆😆
I own a clothing boutique for women- and it’s been crazy busy! This is how I relax.
I failed my road test today lol it's rough but you uploading a 30 minute vlog made my day much better
Litoxjenny11 its ok 👍 you will get it eventually.
I’m wedding planning after getting engaged a few weeks ago! Loving the wedding talk that goes on in your videos as I can now relate haha!xx
We are waithing for IVF, building a house and planning a wedding for next year. It`s a lot but with my man we can do anything we decide. Love seing your weddingplanning videos.
Currently enjoying Easter 🐣 holidays with my little girl and so glad sun is out 🌺😘🌺 xxxx
I love setting my Netflix to French audio with English subtitles! I find that Pretty Little Liars is so much more intriguing and charming in French, for example. :)
Emily Keeler how do you this?In settings?I’ve desperately been trying to watch Netflix in French!
srushti when you start playing a show, there’s a little button on the bottom right corner where you can adjust the subtitles and audio settings!😊
While watching this I am packing for a weekend trip to Chicago!! Struggling with the makeup and carry on only.
Just starting work on my Masters dissertation and procrastinating with wonderful videos like this x
Vogue Paris here on YT is pretty fun to watch especially the Une Fille, Un Style videos. I get my French in that way.
