The Ripper's body shape mimics that of the old Gibson Les Paul Signature semi-hollow body bass, and its currently-available cousin, the Epiphone Jack Casady. I had a mid-'70s Ripper for many years, and loved its neck and tone. I sold it a few years ago (for about $1,450 USD) to fund the purchase of another instrument, which I still have.
Thank you so much for this amazing video! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
If they made the Ripper in a more simplified and affordable version (like an Epiphone), it would be a very nice and versatile option and perhaps it would help more people discover its potential. And not something like those "new" Epiphone short scale and boringly sounding mudbucker pickups basses
I really love how much character those instruments have, they have their own sort of sound that just draw me in

The Epiphone Jack Cassady looks great!
Do you miss playing the Ripper bass?
@greenpeakproductions I sometimes do - it was a great instrument! But the Rickenbacker that took its place is great too, so I can't complain.
@@wmpuig Rickenbacker instruments are absolutely awesome! I wouldn't complain either.. 😅

Epiphone currently sells a Grabber bass.
Mudbucker! 😂 Funny, but very true!
