My Dad took me to SF Blues festival a few years when I was just a kid- I remember Hooks: the dark glasses and gruff voice, how the whole park seemed to sink into a easy rolling groove when he dimed a slow blues for what seemed like a half hour ❤ They don’t make them like that anymore 🔥
Sounds as good as ever, he was quite a guy, gave me his autograph in ipswich in 1964.
John Lee hoocker le King du blues les légendes ne meurt jamais que ce soit dans nos ❤❤❤❤❤ et dans nos hauts parleurs je t écouterai jusqu'à la fin de ma vie repose en paix John à bientôt
I met JLH at the Vancouver airport 90/91 When I walked up to him (in a wheelchair). A large man stepped in front of me, so I said I was a huge fan of his music for many years. He turned and said "hey hooks you want to talk to this guy" Mr. Hooker looked right at me and said yeah alright. When he shook my hand, I remember thinking to myself (how his hand was as soft as a billow). He asked "Are you coming to the show" I replied that I seen him at The Yale a few years back, and that I just had my own show and was on my way home. He asked "what's the name of your band"? I said, I don't play in a band, but that I was a sculptor. He replied without missing a beat "I can dig it!" What a classy man. I'll tell you that conversation I'll never forget, I even got his autograph. )
Bonita historia y grandes palabras.

What other albums and singers have you added after JLH?
I suppose what I mean is, the JLH album goes for about 59 minutes but this TH-cam title goes for over two hours. The padding tracks are players I don’t recognise but they do sound good.
