You're a trip , dude. Hell, ya I'm in...just about to move, so, I'm afraid I'll need the full two weeks, but I'll get ya a video for sure. Good on ya, man, seriously.
I like to blend into my environment, just turns out my environment is a Timmy Mallet lookalike contest. But on the real mate thank you so much! I knew I could count on you xxx
I hope you will remember to mention your comments in one of your videos telling us ''to Man Up'' when you had to carry a few kilos of wood burning stove?
Ray, you should go back and watch some of Haze's other videos, him and TA have history lol, its proper he be included! I am on my way to Joe's channel as I see TA has already jump on board!
To commercialised for TA? You've clearly not been watching Joe Robinet have you? Every video he does is pretty much sponsored 🙈 Few ads here and there, who cares. After all it's free to watch 👍
Ray nothing commercial about raising awareness about men’s mental health mate. That is true to me. Anyway... no worries if it’s not for you me old piss bag x
I know this is an older video, but what you talked about hit me in the heart. As a older dude(52 years this november) who has been dealing with depression and suicide thinking for over 30 years, I am thankfull that influencers that you and others bring the matter up in the light. NO More stigma. Best regards from South Sweden
Haze I suffer really bad with depression and wildcamping helps me cope with it I've got a trial coming up in the next couple of weeks as I was abused as a child by another man and I got so low in my life I nearly ended it it took a lot for me to come out with what happened to me but I'm glad I did now As my heads a lot clearer now and I'm starting to get my life back on track and I've found making TH-cam videos and going wildcamping with the queen has really helped great video mate and I'll deffo be plugging mental health in my next video 🇬🇧🇬🇧
I AM ME ! Thank you I have nothing to be ashamed of anymore and I hope that I get the justice I deserve on the 24th oct as I've been mentally tourchered for over 20yrs I'm also an ex soldier and I suffer from ptsd and I've found the last 18 mths of my life to be the most difficult but I'm heading back on track with the help of fellow Wildcampers and close friends
Nothing but respect for you mate, it takes nuts to talk openly about this sort of stuff but by doing so I imagine it lightens the load and is a big ‘fuck you’ to the scum bag that hurt you. I applaud you sir!
Haze Outdoors cheers buddy it's people like yourself that got me motivated to get back out in the wild where I just get away from it all and get to clear my head and making videos helps me because It takes me mind off things and it's a Hobbie I enjoy doing I think you class for promoting men's mental health because it shouldn't be ignored and is a lot bigger than people realise thank you 🇬🇧
Hats off to you for doing this! As a mother of two young men, both in the Air Force, I have been watching the role that men have in society shift dramatically in the past twenty years. With all the talk of women's health, men's issues have all but been ignored. Thank you for doing something that could help so many.💙
I can’t believe someone actually disliked this!!! How do us “tiny” youtubers get involved in this? As a man, bushcraft enthusiast, bbq guru, and pastor who suffers from depression and has found the solitude of the outdoors to be a great cure I cannot express how grateful I am to see you starting the conversation!!! Men’s mental health is treated as a taboo that should not even be mentioned. A weakness or deficiency in our masculinity. BRAVO for the Show Us Your Steak 🥩 challenge!!!
Yeah, it got legs. I've watched dozens of videos over the last year or two, wondering where it all started. Now I finally come to the original source! Thank you, kind sir, for raising an awareness that has spread across the web, finding stable and troubled souls alike, and giving so much in the way of understanding, because so many have chimed in with their own thoughts and stories. For one who seeks to understand, the sharing of knowledge and experiences from so many diverse perspectives has been truly enlightening! I haven't found them all, so I keep searching, and continue to find new wisdom. Thank you again for starting something that has obviously (and sometimes not so obviously) helped so many to find empathy and understanding and sometimes a whole new perspective on the nature of manhood! Often, when I am troubled, or challenged, by the complexities of being a man in today's world, I seek out "Show Us Your Steak" videos, some that I've sen before, and some that I haven't, to help me reincarnate the basic elements within myself. One of the most profound that I have watched so far is from The Wooded Beardsman. If you haven't seen it, I recommend that you give it a watch. Absolutely a profound perspective from one who has definitely seen challenges, and come away with a much better understanding of "manhood". for your convenience, the link is here: th-cam.com/video/-LpsHQooFy8/w-d-xo.html
Great awareness!! The more men see men being mentally aware , the better. There is such a stigma, of cowardice, in allowing men to express themselves, on said terms!! As a woman, it's warming to see this in the public eye!! Thank you for your time, much love!
The best part about this challenge is that it has started a conversation about mental health with different youtube folks sharing their experiences. It is wonderful to see. I think that most youtubers who are putting out content may not realize that folks look up to you in many ways. So leadership in this area is really helpful. Thank you for starting this, it is a fantastic idea.
Just caught this. I've been watching Joe, and Shawn James for almost a year and learned about this when they did their steaks. First time I watched your video, the original. Thank you for doing this. My husband passed away in September and he never talked to anyone about his anxiety and depression until about a month before he died. I knew most of his struggles and the night terrors he would have but people we'd known for over 40 years were shocked by the things he shared because he had hid it all so well with a joyful, loving, kind, caring personality. At the end of his life he finally reached out, we all wish he had done it about 40 years sooner.
I enjoyed that a lot! Fishy wood hahaha! What a great idea buddy - It will be a big thing! We should never be embarrassed or ashamed! Love the jumper. Cheers, Simon
Thank you for the videos and wanting to bring awareness to mens mental health. I was diagnosed five years ago with Schizoaffective disorder which is a combo of Schizophrenia and severe bipolar depression with major anxiety disorder. I love the woods, its my sanctuary and place to go for peace of mind. Just wanted to share and say again great that you are raising awareness.
Well it did go viral! I have been enjoying these Show Us Your Steak challenges. Not only are both subjects (mental health AND steak) very important, but I also discovered a lot of new youtube channels! This has been one of the best weeks in a long time, but it does make me hungry all the time!
3 years on and I'm doing my SUYS this Thursday. Top man Hazey boy! I reckon after the last year we've all had and with kristmas on the horizon it's a great time to remind us gadges (and gadgettes) that it's alright not to be alright, but wallowing in silence and self pitty ain't doing anyone a favour, lots of great charities and help out there and hopefully these vids give some folk the oomf to get the help they need. Top man! Stick in mate!
That video touched a massive nerve with me. I suffer with anxiety, it affects my life and now work (luckly I'm still there). I have panic attacks and its upsetting. The NHS are now offering me help without drugs. Hazey, I'm not a TH-cam person or a meat eater, but I will back your cause in anyway I can to help others. Hope Mr Monk takes you on. Wish Kate.
Haze, you are a great bloke! My Mrs recently left me, and its been rough man, having been battling anxiety of diffrrent flavours and depression for a long time it has hit me hard, two kids in the equation too isnt helping it go any smoother. Your vids have always helped me look on the brighter side but this one really warmed my heart brother. Thank you for helping put a crack in the dam that holds us men and our feelings in. Do well Hazey!!
You now have a convert . Very up for spreading awareness about mens mental health. So true about today's culture creating all kinds of problems. All those who served in their countries armed forces . Great respect and appreciation goes out to you and may you find peace in your lives . Those out there suffering from mental health issues also may you find care . Thank you for the great video and message
Nice one. Had a tough few years with me head not in the right place and seeing things like this makes me feel less alone. Great idea raising in such a forum. I started watching these videos to relax. They transport me from my day to day and inspire me to get outside and live! Cheers.
Had to subscribe based on the impact you've had on this here topic bud. I blitzed a bunch back in 2018 and am coming round again for another look and listen--the stories I heard expressed have been heart rending and heart warming but inspiring one and all. I'm a firm believer in the message Hazy -I feel our sons need to witness us old farts expressing and talking before we'll get any real societal change on this. We can all agree that yes it's important to talk and seek help but to actually say hey I'm struggling a bit takes a bloody big leap of faith. Stay the course and many thanks from Canada. Gonna come check out you vids later.Cheers
So, men don't like to talk about how they feel, etc...well let me say this: your challenge has grown exponentially. Bushcrafters, campers, preppers, hikers...it is all over Utube and gaining momentum daily. We all owe you a huge debt of gratitude , sir. Well done. Deepest respect to you from your newest subscriber. 👍👍👍
Never seen this. Going camping with my son... again... for 4 days. Looking for decent camping food. Saw your top 8. Got to 1.... realised hadn't seen it. Love you dude. Xxxxx
Great video and message! I was tagged this week by Gareth of Mountain Coffee Outdoors and I'll give it my best shot, if I can get through the snow drifts to my favorite spot!
Big respect young hazo. Until this year I had no idea how anxiety could feel or affect a person. But had a a bit of it my self this year and it can be horrendous mate. People need to speak out and that Alone can help a hell of a lot when you realise you are just normal and it’s a lot more common than you think. Top man!!
Nice one mucker, I have many friends suffering with ptsd and it's hard to see. Great job in getting ppl talk about it. You're mental but not in the harmful way. Top lad
Been watching all of these steak challenges and heard you started it. I am an Army vet and suffer from PTSD. Great message. Just wanted to say thanks. Appreciate you raising awareness.
The reflection of the fire off the photo of your mate making it look like he was holding an actual burning candle was awesome. The steak looks so much tastier than the wood lice.
Being a pastor I want to thank you for addressing this sensitive subject. You are making a difference in the bushcraft community. There is a huge need in every town to love and support the brave men and women who are fighting mental health issues. God bless you and may all of us have a healthy 2019.
Thanks so much for starting this. I am on my own journey through depression and ptsd, camping helps me greatly. Planning a camping trip this weekend (-8 to -12celsius )and will be cooking a fat steak. Learned of this through Joe Robinet and came to see what started it. Thanks again Keith
For a little over 35 years I have worked in or around health care. Military, Emergency Services, and currently as a Registered Nurse. I have taken care of or worked with people who deal with some form of this almost every shift. I also deal with it on a personal level. I applaud you for this challenge. Well done Sir. Thank you.
Nice one Haze, really needed , men's mental health has increased so much over the last few years and I know lots of guys who struggle, my doors always open, for coffee, tea , steak (and boy can I cook a steak) or just a chat. Good on ya uncle Haze, be blessed
I was tagged to do this video, so I came to see what all the crack was about, where it all started. Awesome video to support Mens mental health, thanks for bringing it the front of our minds and voices, I've had a great response, from well friends and subs. Cheers Haze. Steak and sauce looked the dogs danglees.
Awsome idea Haze. I've suffered from Anxiety and it's so important to get more awareness, I didint even know I had it for years. Walked the Dales way a few weeks back to raise money for Mind, nothing better than the outdoors to help the Mind.
Hazy, This is legendary. I'm kicking myself that I haven't been watching your channel for longer now. I heard about this through TA and Joe's channel. Mental health is always a great cause to bring to light and I think you're setting in motion something more than just a challenge and an awareness to mental health. The outdoor community has always been a brotherhood/sisterhood but I've never seen people hopping between channels and furiously subscribing like they are now. Everybody is chasing the steak challenge. Because of you, Scrambled O is back. Because of you, Joe and Mike patched up whatever falling out they had. You're a hero. I may not be a household name on TH-cam but I'm going to throw together my steak challenge after the holidays. Cheers, - Jacob
Thanks Haze for getting this going.. I suffer from Severe Depression and Anxiety. My happy place is in The woods but Ive not been out in an eon.. Been struggling bad over the past 2-3 months because of personal shit.. becomes too much sometimes... I dont do much unless it has to do with my kids activities.. Being off work because of severe Crohns Disease and its complications finds me spending way too much time alone at home... I will be getting myself out into the Canadian woods and grill up a Steak. Time to get a camp made and force myself to get to a happy place. The woods are therapeutic to me..and I need ti get my arse back out there.. Cheers Hazey.. thank you again for getting this all started.. p.s. Lovin the Sweater..
This is a fantastic idea. I love how it's spreading, raising awareness and helping break the stigma around mental health but especially men's mental health. It's okay not to be okay.
Just a female from Oregon USA 🇺🇸 😉 I watched your videos for two years. I appreciate how caring you are and the natural way you talk to your viewers. Men and women both can benefit from your video chat. As a child I grew up in the woods so it always takes me back to my childhood. Absolutely brilliant 👏
Re-watching in 2020 because of the impact this had on me. Has fueled my journey to learn more about Men's Mental Health and getting outdoors. Thank you Uncle Haze for this and cheers to all those out there dealing with any struggles.
Mr. Haze...thank you for doing this as obviously it affects many people in many different ways. It is not so much me that suffers from mental illness ( well...I don't think we do..) but my son, who is 13...who we are going through a long and timely process of diagnosing him with whatever he is suffering with, be it autism, asperges, dysfraxia, or a combination of them. It not only affects him, but us as a family, and puts a massive strain on me and my wife's relationship, and my younger daughters who see and hear everything....I will not go into too much detail, but sometimes he will just not talk, not go to school, stare vacantly out the window, then on the other side, if something triggers inside, the house gets turned upside down, things broken and I literally have been used as a punchbag...many times...my eldest daughter ( 10 ) will then take my youngest daughter (3 ) upstairs out of the way as someone so young and innocent should not have to see this sort of thing, all the while when my wife and I are trying to calm him down...which normally he will do this himself, which takes some time, then he is physically exhausted and upset...he is extremely clever and intelligent, and we have been referred to CAMHS, to try and help diagnosing him, then we should know how to deal with him a little better...It is not only men who have issues, but teenagers, which then in turn affect the whole family by trying to cope with it. It is very upsetting to see someone you love so much go through this ( especially your children ), and again, thank you for raising awareness of the issue, which people seem to dismiss or forget about. Alan Kings
@KingsTLC It does get better. Somewhere out there is a knowledgeable therapist who has the answer. Especially since he is clever and very intelligent. That is a good sign. We just need to know how to reach him on his terms. Keep trying please.
You are probably the most rated R bushcraft / outdoors channel on youtube! its hilarious, love your videos man, happy to see your channel is picking up steam
Nice one Hazy Lad and all for a good cause too:) I quite agree about the time frames that modern folk live out their lives in. There is another time frame, or vibrational field if you will. That of nature, which is ignorant to the happenings of the commercial world as much as the commercial world, the world of modern man is ignorant of nature to a large extent. Sandy
Haze, Through this challenge you have presented, I have now become a sub of yours. I first heard about it through Carlisle 195. I became a sub of his earlier this year. I find peace through watching his videos, and yes, I live vicariously through his and your type of videos because do to my health, I can no longer do what you are doing, so it gives me peace to at least experience the outdoors with you. I am glad you brought this Steak Challenge for men to light. Mental health is such a human ailment. It does not leave anyone out of the equation. But as you said, and other men as well as I have watched many of their videos now, that men have been taught not to talk about it as it makes them look week. But that is a lie! That is a myth that has been perpetuated that needs to be called out for what it is. Men are not weak. They have feelings that run deep, and when it affects them it can be devastating. Mental illness can be so debilitating, it can shut one down, it can ruin your life. It makes you feel all alone like you are the only one that is going through it, and you feel like if you reach out to someone else, they will think less of you. Well I want you to know that since you started this challenge, 99% of the men I have watched have said that they have suffered or are still suffering from mental illness. I have also read much the same in the comments. Now if all that is true, then all any of us have to do is talk about it to others. If someone thinks less of you because of it, then that is on them, and they themselves are probably in denial. I agree with you Haze, today’s way of life is not normal or natural and is why so many are suffering from mental illness. Most women have no problem talking about it. In the crafting world there are many women that suffers from Mental Illness. The difference is we talk about it and talk to one another. It is why we have TH-cam channels and belong to Facebook groups, so we can reach out to one another. I have suffered and still suffer from PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety, although I have made a lot of headway, it does creep in from time to time. But talking to others about it and having empathy with others helps to overcome it. So again, Haze, thank you for starting this challenge for men, it needed to be brought to light and it is a good thing. And I do hope that it goes viral so that many lives are touched by it.
Your all top lads for doing this, unbelievably important to get this message out there, I've had my own demon's to contend with in my life and at the time I thought talking about it was not the manly thing to do, but my beautiful wife and family helped me through, beautiful message and jumper and cracking vid m8 your a champ.
You've started something awesome - it will change the lives of people you've never met - a tricky subject handled with humor, honesty and compassion. Cheers mate!
As someone that deals with social anxiety on a daily basis I truly appreciate what you started with the show me your steak challenge. As an outdoorsman myself I appreciate your channel in general and instantly had to subscribe.
Nice, you got it rolling into something very important. I needed this because I’ve been spiraling down for a while and I have been watching all the “show us your steak challenge “ beers uplifting for me
Haven't been camping since my grandfather passed on... but we use to bring so much food it was crazy and we would use what we had found outdoors to cook the good and it was such a awesome feeling knowing that you just did that just a great feeling...
Important topic these days. Over here in the States, we have men losing their beans on a massively tragic scale and regularly these days. As a veteran who suffers from depression, I know I need my time outside and sometimes appreciate it vicariously through others (like Joe, and now you, too). I'll do my part to help take this movement viral and hope it can grab hold on this side of the pond as well. Maybe even produce my first YT video just for it. Thanks for starting the fire, mate.
These vids make you feel like you’re with you hanging out. It’s great for people who are lonely or don’t have the social capabilities to get out in the big world! Your like everyone’s big brother! Top man! What a gem 💎
Massive respect to Uncle Haze and for the guys you tagged who have agreed to join in. Male mental health is still a taboo subject to some so a video like this can lower barriers we put up to protect our macho image....here's hoping "Show Us Your Steak" does indeed go viral 👍👍👍
What a great message! Thanks for starting this. I had no idea my friend was struggling with mental health issues until he committed suicide. I wish he had felt he could reach out for help.
I had to come and check out the original. This was a brilliant idea. Thanks for bringing it. Everyone I’ve come across has done a phenomenal job being real with this. I can’t help but think it’s helping. 🙏
Even though You have mainly chaps that follow you, I love all the cheeky northern male banter (being northern myself) 🤣 but just wanted to say thank you 🙏🏼 for speaking so openly about male mental health. My dear brother took his own life a few years ago, it shook our world. As his sister, I will always carry the guilt of not being able to save him & the deep deep sadness of losing him. You are an angel 😇
Haze my man found you mistake just hunting round on TH-cam and now I'm hooked and spend my day laughing and your beer talks and trips out . Would love to have a go myself . Keep up the good work mate your helping me keep my head above water if ya know what I mean.
Well done Hazey for standing up and raising a voice for mental health. TA outdoors has been suitably pestered for the 'show us your steak' challenge. Big up Northern Monk also.
mens mental health is actually a searius issue of our time i really appreciat you as a public person to speak out about it! mate you are doing good! always make your self aware of that
I'm here from Joe Robinet's channel. Thanks for doing this, man. The gods know that what I call my 'black dog' just does my head in sometimes, so it's nice to see someone trying to start a convo about mental health in this community. If I knew when I can get into the woods next, I'd definitely do you a steak video. EDIT: Oh yeah. I subbed, by the by...
Haze, you really need to take a look at how much this has taken off. It is unbelievable. It is truly a wonderful thing you have started. It has helped me immensely. You have a friend in the US forever. If you ever need anything over here let me know and i will provide. Thank you so much. Cheers mate!
Very wise words on mental health mate, absolutely spot on with people feeling the need to live to a media driven and often materialistic model. No shame in being open about anxiety or depression ,and if anybody is looking for some free advice, go cook a steak in the woods - best therapy ever. Great post.
Already know me Haze and my little story! Can't say you saved my life, but for sure your generous heart kept me on track in this long dark of mine! Your videos keep me mesmerized to what I think life should be and to what I need/want to do in the future to save myself from this world's insanity. Still, I think a Northern Monk cannister would help me deeply (lol) Thank you, blessed be... " Don't know where I'm going but I'm on my way " - Carl Sagan
First found all this by KCHappyCamper, and so on from there. Thanks for starting this, everybody knows somebody that's for sure. Great steak there, but I won't be trying that appetizer any time soon for sure!
hazey. rest assured mate, this thing you created is big. I'm a grandad and i'm about to take my son in law and my grandson, into the woods to cook up a steak, we'll not be filming it but we will still be talking about mens mental health, and thinking of you. thanks buddy. love your vids mate.
Hats off to you for starting this, young man. My generation mostly pretended nothing was wrong and look at the screwed up state the world is now in with so many influential figures in their 50s and 60s with clear mental health problems. Forget the blending in and stand out and shout out loud, fella.
This is a great challenge . Well done sir!! I think its important to let anyone who is suffering from Mental Illness know that its ok to talk about it and you're not the only person going through this . You are not alone !!
Thanks so much for getting this going man, great idea and much needed. I'm not a youtuber or anything but I'm going to comment on channels that I watch and try to get them doing this too, costs very little and helps shine a light on the hell of mental illness. Subbing to a bunch of channels that are doing this challenge too, doing my bit to help support everyone. Again, thanks!
I first saw Andy at Kent Survival doing a Tomahawk Steak and discussing men's mental health, then Joe Robinet, and most recently, Shawn James of My Self Reliance. Your name was mentioned by all 3, so thought I'd pop in and check you out. Love your accent - of course, you would think I had an accent. I am in Wisconsin USA, a Vietnam Vet, retired nurse, and fully aware of mental health issues with vets and life in general. I dealt with my demons with alcohol, until I got help and stopped in Oct 75. I opened up to others, that which I had been keeping bottled up inside, trying to cope alone. Thanks for your efforts to bring this issue to light, and to get men to open up, discuss the issues, and get help. God Bless. - - - An Armchair Adventurer
Haze, to coin a phrase - You're Bloody Brilliant! And your steak was spot on! I posted a video from my Boy Scout outing over the weekend here in the States & made mention of Men's Mental Health while out in the sticks. LOVE your humor! Hat's off my friend!
From one of your twelve female followers (ooo I feel so special) This vid couldn’t have been timed better for me, I’m having a mental health day from work as I watch. I feel so passionate about speaking openly about taking care of your noggin..... Thanks for this.....your a little star. Scran looked bloody gorge also x
Very Good Video!! I had wondered how this challenge started, Justin at Survival Mindset sent me your way. Thank You for bringing this topic out in to general discussion. I have a feeling that this has reached those that needed this message. Very Enjoyable video, Cheers!
How does the this, the original SUYS challenge not have more views?! Hazy, you've done a wonderful thing here, sharing this and talking about something that affects a lot of people every day. Love the videos, love the channel and thank you for getting more people to talk about this. As someone who's struggled with severe depression his whole life, this video and others like mean the world to me. And we've got you to thank for starting this all off! Cheers mate.
Thanks for this video pal it's great that we are speaking about as I suffered so long before I was diagnosed with ptsd and bipolar disorder people just use to think I was a bit case and I was a ashamed of being like this but now not so much that why I love being in the woods and hunting it's my way of dealing with it and being outdoors really does help top steak by the way pal thanks for sharing A.t.b Andrew
Awesome cause, hope it gets the boys talking, sharing their stories and feelings! I don't look at men sharing their thoughts or feelings about their mental health as a weakness, it is a strength. It takes a strong, courageous fella to share those feelings with others. Thanks for showing us your steak and hopefully there will many more men join in doing so as well!
Great Idea for a great cause and raising awareness to help quash the negative stigma related to mental issues and health in men...and everyone really. Across the pond in the U.S. we just had a biased media verbally attack and berate a man regarding his mental state because he suffers from Bipolarism. (solely because of political differences) Hope this catches on over here as well as nearly 20% of Americans have been treated for some sort of mental illness (depression, PTSD, Bipolarism, etc) THANK YOU SIR!
Great job love this! I haven’t been nominated but love the cause so I’m nominating myself! Hoping to get it done this weekend! Good on you for starting an internet challenge that makes sense! 👍🏾🏕
What a bloody brilliant vid Hazey!! And as for that steak....you can cook for me any day mate! Loving the content of this one, lets see how much this one rolls. Keep it up!!
You're a trip , dude.
Hell, ya I'm in...just about to move, so, I'm afraid I'll need the full two weeks, but I'll get ya a video for sure.
Good on ya, man, seriously.
Yes mate! You’re a star! Looking forward to seeing your effort dude. Thank you so much 😊
Yesss!!!
this is brill . love to you all looking forward to all the stake vids and the message getting about mental health well done to all
Woot woot. Gonna drop one myself.
do it joe you know how to make a steak
Yep I'm in... important topic hazey mate - That jumper tho...!!
I like to blend into my environment, just turns out my environment is a Timmy Mallet lookalike contest. But on the real mate thank you so much! I knew I could count on you xxx
I came across Haze via one of Mike's videos... So good to hear a proper Yorkshire accent again... Living dahn south it's rare to hear it...
Show me the steak !!
I hope you will remember to mention your comments in one of your videos telling us ''to Man Up'' when you had to carry a few kilos of wood burning stove?
Got challenged myself and got it done proper video just out hope you guys would check it out
Ey up you lovely lot, please could you go pester TAoutdoors, Carlisle195 and Joe Robinet to show us their steak? Cheers guys :)
No TA. Too commercialized. Stay true, Haze
Without even watching, I know how this challenge ends... Hazey WINS :)
Haze Outdoors cheers buddy it's people like yourself that got me motivated to get back out in the wild where I just get away from it all and get to clear my head and making videos helps me because It takes me mind off things and it's a Hobbie I enjoy doing I think you class for promoting men's mental health because it shouldn't be ignored and is a lot bigger than people realise thank you 🇬🇧
So much respect for you mate. Stay strong and enjoy.
Good luck mate
Iv just uploading this dude was a epic video you did I totally loved it
carlisle195 Absalute LEGEND! Thanks mate
Looking forward to the challenge - now to find a wild sweater haha
Please wear a wild sweater for it mate. It would be a joy to behold lol
Cheers.
Nothing but love and respect for you bro!
Xxxxx
RIP Scout, thanks Haze for starting this. Whenever I feel down this video lifts me up.
Thanks again
Keith
As one of "The 12", standing with you lads!
I love all 12 of you!
Andy from Kent Survival tagged me, I can't wait. Such a cool idea, thanks for starting something awesome 👍👍👍
Hazy,
This is legendary.
Cheers,
- Jacob
RESPECT to the originator of the Show us your Steak!! Great job for a great cause!! This hits home with me big time!! Thank you!!
Just 1 word “outstanding”
love the challenge, the humor, and your sweater.
This is one of the most sincere well meaning videos I have ever seen. Good Luck, be great if it catches on and goes global. Respect. ATB Reeco
.
Re-watching in 2020 because of the impact this had on me. Has fueled my journey to learn more about Men's Mental Health and getting outdoors. Thank you Uncle Haze for this and cheers to all those out there dealing with any struggles.
Much love mate
Nice one Hazy Lad and all for a good cause too:)
I quite agree about the time frames that modern folk live out their lives in. There is another time frame, or vibrational field if you will. That of nature, which is ignorant to the happenings of the commercial world as much as the commercial world, the world of modern man is ignorant of nature to a large extent.
Sandy
Hello Sandy.
is this a good time to mention you've been tagged? please check out 'bushcraft dads' channel.
Gary.
Haze,
Through this challenge you have presented, I have now become a sub of yours.
Thank you for the video and the god job, I also participated in this challenge from Japan. I pray that many lives will be saved all over the world.
As soon as you referenced blending in I knew that jacket was coming off 😂. Seriously though, well done on this one. You’re a magnificent human 👏
Thanks for highlighting this issue Haze. Means a lot. Great video, great man, great beer, burnt steak
Thanks for starting this challenge! Awesome steak! Especially your word on mens mental health, love your videos!
Well done Hazey for standing up and raising a voice for mental health. TA outdoors has been suitably pestered for the 'show us your steak' challenge. Big up Northern Monk also.
From a woman living with PTSD, I'd like to say thanks for this. I think it's awesome!!!!
Also, you crack me up.
#onelove ✌️
mens mental health is actually a searius issue of our time i really appreciat you as a public person to speak out about it! mate you are doing good! always make your self aware of that
I appreciate everything you do and to talk about this subject most men won't. One Love and much respect brother.
Just seen this several years behind the ball but it is still relevant today brilliant
Very wise words on mental health mate, absolutely spot on with people feeling the need to live to a media driven and often materialistic model. No shame in being open about anxiety or depression ,and if anybody is looking for some free advice, go cook a steak in the woods - best therapy ever. Great post.
Would love to see you and Joe do a collaboration!!
Thank you for starting this challenge could help many people. I feel that talking to people about your illness
Already know me Haze and my little story! Can't say you saved my life, but for sure your generous heart kept me on track in this long dark of mine! Your videos keep me mesmerized to what I think life should be and to what I need/want to do in the future to save myself from this world's insanity. Still, I think a Northern Monk cannister would help me deeply (lol)
Thank you, blessed be...
" Don't know where I'm going but I'm on my way " - Carl Sagan
Respect mate!
Respect to you my friend
This is amazing Haze!! Well Done You! Fingers Crossed for it becoming viral
I accidentaly found out about your "Show Us Your Steak! To Raise Awareness Of Men`s Mental Health." series. Awesome initiative. Keep up the good work.
Almost forgot! I'm a new subscriber, mate!
Well done, Haze. You cooked a nice steak AND started a great movement.
Haze, to coin a phrase - You're Bloody Brilliant! And your steak was spot on! I posted a video from my Boy Scout outing over the weekend here in the States & made mention of Men's Mental Health while out in the sticks. LOVE your humor! Hat's off my friend!
From one of your twelve female followers (ooo I feel so special)
This vid couldn’t have been timed better for me, I’m having a mental health day from work as I watch.
Thanks mate. I’m pleased it’s still helping people. 💚🤗
We must change the model indeed!!! You are awesome Haze keep spreading the love
Thanks for sharing that mate, ptsd and bipolar can’t be easy to deal with. Big up yourself for fighting back and finding what helps. Big love!
I saw this shortly after you posted it. Can't believe how well it's done! Well done! You're an international celebrity!
Where has this been?... This is so important, thank you kindly.
It's cool the way the carrot in the photo of Steven Seagal, looks like a candle flickering 15:30. The steak looks delicious.
Great Idea for a great cause and raising awareness to help quash the negative stigma related to mental issues and health in men...and everyone really. Across the pond in the U.S. we just had a biased media verbally attack and berate a man
regarding his mental state because he suffers from Bipolarism.
