Thank you all so much for watching at such a crazy time, hopefully yo enjoy the idea of changing something that’s old new again 🤩🤩 another fantastic video pouring and blinging up a vase and canvas please click on this link th-cam.com/video/zwJq2mSmky4/w-d-xo.html Want to see video on gloss coating your vase or vase use this link th-cam.com/video/tqnrCtvIELM/w-d-xo.html
You will just need to be careful with a lampshade because of the lightbulb causing heat. I think with pouring over glass sealing it with varnish or resin is why it lasts and stays on, you may need to make sure whatever you are sealing it with can withstand the heat and won’t become flammable
That looks awesome. It’s your chameleon vase it kept changing colour. Loved the dipped paintings and the end colour was my favourite. I love doing vases and find the pre mixed mont marte sticks really well. I often dip the under base of wine glasses into the overflow so gift the vase and the glasses together. That holder looks like a coffee pod holder. I bought a stainless paper towel holder from Bunnings and cut a piece of noodle which fits tightly over it. I use bubble wrap if my vases are bigger. It’s really stable and easy to move 😊
The pink vase is beautiful ! When I was watching you and all that paint , I thought about dipping a canvas into it , and you did it . So now , not too much paint is wasted at the end . . . 🌟
I love it. LOVE your personality is the main reason I watch you. Your talent too if course. Had tradigey in my life. So good to hear u easy going attitude no stress. Keep it up. Just what Doc recommends😌
Hi Gilly, I have an idea for you so you don’t have to get so much paint on your hands. Use 3 paint stir sticks and cut one of them in half and mail or glue onto each end of whole sticks to make a little box ring. When you need to move the item, just hold onto the sticks and gently slide vase to another area. I hope this will help you. Also, I haven’t tried it but if you put Petroleum Jelly around the ring of the cups, I don’t think the resin will stick to the cup holding the jug. I don’t know if it’ll work but worth a try! I love your videos and once I get moved, I want to start this to sell at Flea Markets and as gifts. The first pour I saw you do was using the vase spinner or turner. I was hooked! Thank you for being so dedicated to all your followers! Excellent! JilliBean
Iv'e got a couple of beautiful shaped vases that i have been given over the years but not used them because of the colour they are. I think i might make a start into painting by pouring on the vases in the colours of my new furniture that i am hoping to get. Thanks so much Gilly. You never cease to amaze me with what you are going to do next. Take care and stay well. Shirley. X
I love painting the vases from the Dollar Store here. You’ve done a fabulous job with this one. Purple is my favorite color! Love this!!🎉💜. Well, now that is no longer purple, it still looks beautiful! Thanks for the share!
I loved how it turned out. You wouldn’t be wasting paint if you used freezer paper under the vase instead of puppy pads. The skins can be used for jewelry or other projects. I just saw you dip the round canvas - excellent use of leftover paints. Thanks for sharing. I always learn from each of your videos.
I put a small block of wood under the canvas when I sit a vase on it. That or sit the vase into a pan or dish to collect the paint and save it. The dips came out great also. For some reason, now your videos show up in the morning where I am. It used to be later in the afternoon.
I find I have lids for plastic storage containers where the container itself is broken. Great for collecting paint. End was gorgeous but I liked the dark colours as well.
They all look good! It looks like a lot of fun to do the vases! I was just thinking your hubby better watch out or he will be next wearing the paint!! 😂
Hi Gilly - beautiful as always!! 😍 You've mention in a past video that you sealed a vase by... brushing on a resin... or something along those lines!?! And you mentioned that you have a tutorial of how you do that. Could I trouble you to tell me which video that is? Grateful to learn new things! Thank you for sharing your talent! 😊🙏
It's bummer about the purple color. However, the hot pink turned out beautiful. The canvases also turned out really pretty as well. Love the experimenting with different products and the pouring over vases and other things.
The first pour over the vase was looking really good, but I think the second pour turned out so much better. Very pretty vase. I'm going to have to give it a try and see how my pour would turn out. I've actually been really wanting to do a bubble wrap pour, every since I watched you do one and it turned out so good, I've been excited about trying it myself. Hopefully I'll be able to do one soon.🙂💜
What a shame the purple and gold didn't work out. It was lovely. I'm going to have a play with this this weekend with some maconna jars. It's pretty cool and if i can get the hang of it I could make some nice Christmas gifts.
Hi Gilly I’ve just started, hope I’m not to old 82, going to opp shops today get some verses. I live on the border of NSW AND VIC. do I have to be aware of we have a different climate. Suggestion put something hard under canvas so canvas doesn’t stretch. Love everything you do.
This is beautiful! I would like to try this over 2 candle holders that I have. How would I make it heat proof? Do you know? Thank you so much! 💓 I really love this!!
Hi, Jayne and Gilly. I just ran across your chat. I love how your charity vases turned out. The heat proof question. When you want to make your glassware art permanent and waterproof you place it in a warm oven (225 degrees F ) for at least an hour. You then turn off you oven, open the door a ways to allow the glass to cool slowly before removing from oven. (Sorry I don't know the Celsius degrees you need.. I am from Northern California, USA ) Once your glassware has completely cooled, you can seal it with whatever spray/gloss/resin you have . Just remember to allow it plenty of time for any volatile fumes to completely evaporate or it could be flammable. Good luck with the project!! Take care, Brenda
Good Day Gilly! Thee end photos, were incredible! The end result is a wood grain look! It's excellent, great job! What did you have the Vase to stand up? I know I can use a cup! Thank you so much Gilly! Most Sincerely Crystal Elk. Sending positive vibes your way. Peace love dream's.🇨🇦 💞📽️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌅🌎💜🌍💙🌏🌄🕊️💕🌌😉

The purple and gold is so pretty together
I didn’t think I can pour using acrylics on a glass. I will do that with my lampshade ! Thanks Gilly for your wonderful and creative ideas!
Have fun 🤩

I made a four vase holder with PVC pipe and pool noodles, very easy to move off the canvases to finish drying.
Yes I have a towel holder to a my cup turner works great for pouring vase cups etc, yes iv found the mm pouring paints great for these pours 😆😆
It is very beautiful. The black one was also beautiful, and it was the colors that were requested. Both are lovely.

I actually liked both of them! To bad you didn't try a canvas as a dip in the paint...it might of turned out gorgeous for your friend ❣️
I love the ending color!
Wow that is beautiful
Gorgeous! I love it!👍😍
You can use a lazy Susan with a canvas or tiles then you have your canvas pour over and the ability to turn the vase as you work.
Stunning
Love it
They all look good! It looks like a lot of fun to do the vases! I was just thinking your hubby better watch out or he will be next wearing the paint!! 😂

you will do this easy and so much fun :)

Could you use a bunt pan to set the vase on?
But it’s worth it it looks beautiful.
Você sempre se superando 👏👏👏
Abraço do Brasil 🇧🇷🤗👏
Do you have a tutorial for the vase with the gold leaf? It’s beautiful!!
Beautiful

Yes absolutely, that’s what iv just poured over big coffee jars 🤗🤗
A ballon kiss would look beautiful on the canvases
Gorgeous
Thank you ☺️
Fantastic! Thank you. Deanne UK 🥰
Gob stopping gorgeous
Bellissimo!!
How do you clean the lip if paint dries inn it wrong .
Just run your finger around to get rid of excess, if it dries lumpy just a light sand when fully dry 😆😆
Hi Gilly I’ve just started, hope I’m not to old 82, going to opp shops today get some verses.

Never to old, just relax enjoy and take it slow 🤩🤩
I love the purple and gold together. How do you keep the paint from peeling once it has dried?
Thank you 😊 I seal with varnish
Beautiful work. Did you mount the. Paper holder on the. Spinning plate? Enjoy your work .
Did she like it when you gave it to her? I preferred it lighter, my son wants something in orange and purple, I've been putting it off.
Yes loved it thankfully 😅
beautiful work, Gilly! how are the vases holding up without a sealer on the glass ist?
For that heavier vase holder, you can put a book or something hard under the canvas to support its weight
Yes great idea 😆😆
Belíssimo, amei.
Yay you did it👍
The canvases turned out awesome ❣️
Thank you so much ☺️
I think that stand might be for storing coffee capsules maybe?
Could be 😁

Where did you get the stand inside your vase? It’s a great idea!
charity shop :)
Gilly how do you stop the paint making drips as it is drying around lip of vase.
Just run your finger around 😁😁
What do you do if paint has gone inside the vase.
So pretty. Too bad the purple and gold didn't work out, those were beautiful together.
I subscribed to your channel
Many thanks 🙏

Can you dip a canvas to the flow on the table? Wow ❤️🇩🇰
