Never seen a man before that can make me cry out of respect. The Sorrow over the loss of this man..we dont produce men like this anymore. Respect..just respect
one of the greatest men to ever grace football. the fact he was universally loved, respected and missed not just in England, but Spain. but Holland. Anywhere that was lucky to have him, says it all.
In my teens I grew to really like Bobby Robson and used to nominate him as my most admired person at meeting warm ups. He went through allot of crap with a great deal of dignity. I remember him coming out of the changing room after his last England game v Italy in Bari for the losing semi finalists play off of the Italia 90 World Cup. We all chanted his name so much he came out to an empty stadium (we were kept in) just to come over and thank us. A lovely man and a treasured memory.
He was one of the great managers Barcelona had along with Vic Buckingham,Ferdinand Daucik,Rinus Michels,Johan Cruyff,Helenio Herrera,Hennes Weisweiler,Udo Lattek,Cesar Menotti,Terry Venables,Van Gaal,Rijkaard and Guardiola
absolutely loved this man, My happiest childhood football memories are Mexico 86 and Italia 90, Special times and the man had no bad bones in his body. I shed a tear with him in 86 and 90 and for him when he passed. RIP Sir Bobby
I've always loved this man. I never met Sir Bobby myself but my wife met him once and, as you'd expect, he was a perfect gentleman. He even made her laugh, which is no mean feat I can assure you. Thank you Bobby.
Thinking of you today Sir Bobby before this massive semi final against Croatia, you, Bobby Moore, Bally and the rest of them up there I'm sure will be looking down on our lads. It's coming home finally
Rip bobby. You gent. We loved your honesty, your passion and your generosity. Your response to the challenges you faced is a lesson to us all. God bless you bobby, 1990 will always be special to me.......
his optimism I aleays admire of him specially how the media treated him during the 1990 WC but I'm glad he silecnced his critics forever.. RIP Sir Bobby Robson greetings from Guatemala.
What a wonderful and fitting tribute to the man. Loved our duels in the early 2000's even Sir Alex was frightened by your capabilities but had the utmost respect. Love from a Utd fan, Newcastle were a force under you what a team.

I knew I'd cry. Who on this island was ever loved and respected like Sir Bobby? I hope there's a heaven. If there is, he's patting Jesus on the back right now, saying "Good first half, lad."
