I’m 71, retired, and in crappy health. I can’t travel very far, but I can go on trips with you guys! Thanks for all you do, and especially for making history come alive.
    Bless your hearts!!!!!! 😁

OK, you all have DEFINITELY encouraged me to get my channel going again! My absolute PASSION is history, to the point that this year, I became the government appointed historian of my hometown of Perry, NY. I love all history, but especially United States in the 19th and early to mid 20th century ( Townsends and Early American do an awesome job of covering 18th to early 19th century history- amazing TH-cam channels!), and I love love love helping people learn how their ancestors lived by going to historic places, making historic foods and crafts, learning how they used tools, and ohhh the giddiness I get when I discover things in old documents! Thanks for such an amazing panel discussion, and thank you for the encouragement, whether you knew you were giving it to people like me or not-- even if I don't get many subscribers, I now realize I need to start making videos again in order to have an outlet for my insane passion of history!

I really appreciated this format and a little of the "behind the scenes." I found your channel about 2 years ago and have enjoyed every video and post. I knew of Gary through some of the Civil War docs on The History Channel, etc. I appreciate EVERYONE on your team. The excitement is contagious. I visited Gettysburg when I was in middle school and always wanted to get back to it. My wife is not as much of a history fan, but through my constant badgering, I think I am getting her to consider my dream vacation - a tour of VA,PA,WV, MD Civil War sites.

I, like so many others, thank each of you for not only respecting history, but for making it more accessible and interesting to a wider audience, as you are doing far more than entertaining, you are educating.
The civil war is so critically essential to understanding the U.S. - then and now-that you are more than just “war historians” you are cultural educators.
As for viewer suggestions regarding future videos, tying human interest to parallels of the 1860s to the 2020’s without being political yet underscoring the “human” consistency and lessons that run like a spinal cord through time is compelling. Personal letters, observations, diary segments of the known and unknown names of this war are always fascinating.
Ultimately, what makes your videos successful is the obvious love and passion you have for the material, and this is why I’m not too worried about future direction. This passion can’t be forced, it can only be natural, and you are all naturally curious and passionate, which lifts your messages above the rest.
Mostly, let me just say: Thank you.

I loved this panel. I’m subscribed to all the channels. I live in Virginia, and was wondering if you will do a livestream from Richmond or Petersburg but covering their importance in the revolutionary war. The civil war overshadows the importance of those locations during the lead up to the Yorktown siege. Most people don’t know that Lafayette nearly captured Benedict Arnold when he was raiding our state.

My students love history because I bring it to life for them. I'm an English teacher for students with special needs and they tell me they learn more history from me than the history teacher.

It was so interesting to see you without your game faces on and interacting with each other as humans. Your real personalities came out as opposed to the personas you have on your channels. Thanks for a great panel.

Great Q&A. Had I been privileged to be there I would have asked what do you see n the future for AI and historical videos? Maybe troop movements behind you as you explain the action?
