Recently did a build myself, not as much as you did but I port polished heads and Intake, Pace Setter Headers, 1.6 Scorpion RR's, K&N Full CAI, High Pressure Fuel Pump, AC Delete, 24# Injectors, Stock Cam and Crank (Motor only had >30K on it, junkyard find), Was on a budget but man there is nothing sweeter than making a nice pull in a car that you built! Nice work man!
nothing better than a home grown ride, not about the dollar amount you paid for it but the blood sweat and tears that go into them, i also have a 1995 LT1 camaro getting repainted and engine being built, nothing too wild, just enough to shut someone up, Great Video!

Because now when he slaps LS drivers with his built LT, he get's the joy of watching peoples jaw drop as he walks them. and then gets to explain to them it's "only" an LT1... hahaha. Nice car man, I can't wait to sell my IROC and get a TA or another camaro.
C5 LS1 and maybe Z06 LS6, they werent that big of a performance leap from the LT1/4 I have a stock LT1 with a hot cam and headers and i get 375hp at the crank, so its easy to match and got past a LS1 @ 345HP with a few mods. I could only imagine also having heads and a 383 too would push it in to the 400+ hp range.

@TheVettekiller respect the build. i used to have a 97 T/A stock, then bought my 99 Ls1 and just recently put a cam in it with supporting shit and i LOVE it lol. what made you want to build the Lt1 and not just do an LSx swap? with what you did to the Lt1 im sure you could have gotten more out of a cast 6.0 from a truck.. nice build still, just curious why you chose that route instead
I just built my 93 z28 with 5.7 v8 and put in a bigger cam. Did you have to do anything with the car computer when you finished to make it run better. My car is now running rich and I am looking into getting a chip. What would you suggest?

I went forged Eagle with SRP pistons bringing my comp up to 13:1 static with a LE cam similar to that of an XFI 292. Bolted out the back is a Vigi 3800 stalled 4L60E with 3.73s gears on the 10 bolt. Look up my videos to see my final build.
How many times did you blow out that 10 bolt rear end? After 3 times I said F;CK it and ordered a moser 12 bolt with 4.10s with a carbon fiber driveshaft to eliminate the week rear and the vibration prone driveshaft. With my 355 with a fully built auto from performabuilt I went from 12.5s to 11.9s. Any faster I would have to get a roll bar or cage...

I got a 01 Ws6 and I'm currently building that just put a 231/235 .617/.621 lsa 13+3 ported stock heads ls7 lifters dual valve springs 3600 stall and 3:73 gears i should be putting around 425rwhp and rwtrq point is from the looks of yours and what you have done im guessing 450-500rwhp right? I ask bc I couldn't find the numbers. Figure youd know since it was back under neath the camaro, anyways nice ride bro more vids pls
