I actually know Wes and him and his father have reconciled but as a child Wes fell out with him as his father use to bully him for his weight and freckles
Great movie. This came out when I was 11, and I thought George Clooney saying “Beagles love blueberries” with a banality, as if it’s common knowledge made me laugh so hard for some reason as a kid
Man, this is like one of my favorite reactions y'all have done. I think it's because it was so different than what you (or myself when I saw it) were expecting. And this movie is fire! So creative, funny, and wholesome. I rewatch it probably once a year since I saw it in theaters back in 2009/8 or whatever. Love this react.
Thanks for this one! I’ve long been infatuated with stop-motion. It’s such an amazing and unequalled art form. Hundreds of hours go into completing just one finished minute of footage. Something as “simple” as the way light falls across a three dimensional object can’t quite be equaled by CGI.
Be fucking sick to see you cats react to the Wallace and Gromit Curse of the Were-Rabbit movie. Never in a million years thought I’d write that sentence, but here we are.
wow...someone's doing a 'long troll' of all Wes Anderson fans by starting with these wacky choices vs starting properly with THE GOAT, aka, Rushmore...muy extraño. still better than these recent no-name movies though...🤭
This is my favorite animated movie of all time, the dialogue is so witty and quick.
Wes Anderson must have had a strained relationship with his father because most of the fathers in his films are selfish but loveable scoundrels 😂

Ash is voiced by jason schwartsman... You might remember him from the fourth season of fargo
This is based on a book from the same author who wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Y'all must have watched this one before you saw THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL, another Wes Anderson flick.
