I’m currently waiting on my 2M2 Gen3 I’m super excited and will report back with a review on that :). Great Video I absolutely love the content you put out
Nice review there Donovan! I think they're good pieces, I'm firmly in the AR Resonance camp but it's great to have options. I did find Lotus nickle pieces to sound brittle but in general, they're a good option with going too far down the truly bespoke route. Incidently, you've got a lovely 'morning' sound :) Cheers! Don't go too hard and Serg... he's howling in approval 😆
@@trumpetthoughts Ah! Sorry for getting your name wrong Serge! No worries mate, great to see players and shops getting out there and keeping it real. Lotus is an exciting brand but I'm concerned about the bravado and high profile take up with Lotus equipment and how 'genuine' that endorsement is. Like I said about in my initial comment, options are important and I'm sure they'll find a stable customer base amongst the semi-bespoke brass community. Thanks again!
Hi and thanks for the video, so I was wondering, I am currently playing a B2s3 monette and I love the rim, it's grippy but also and more importantly a little flat on the rim which I find very comfortable and it helps with stamina, just wanted to know if it's theses kind of rims! Thanks again for the informative content. Have a good one!
I currently play on a Bach 3c artisan mouthpiece. Which lotus mouthpiece do you think is the most similar in shape but maybe with a darker or more open tone?
Great video Donovan... good info. I hope to get over and try some of your cools stuff out.
Please do!
Wow Donovan!! You have some serious power!!!! Are you using Jerome’s method?

Thanks for the kind words! Sarge is a very good boy - but sometimes it can be a bit much! :D

Great video. Question what size is that you’re playing on the S cup? Thanks
i've seen around that the s cup is similar to a bobby shew lead
Why don’t you make a cornet wood mouthpiece?

More grippy than the Monette, and the rim is a bit flatter in general. Lead models incorporate the Marathon rim for added endurance!
@@trumpetthoughts thank you!
@@trumpetthoughtsWhat exactly does the marathon rim feel like? is it a smaller size than a typical bach 3?
@@barackdrinksWD40 It's just the actual rim is wider than normal - so it's got more cushion. Inner diameter isn't changed.
I’ve tried the 9 XS
Could not get a good sound out of it and I play mostly shallow mouthpiece
I’m playing a curry .600-.610 S or M
What’s comparable ?
The XS is too shallow for you, then. Try the 9S.

2L, 2XL
Hello there Donovan! How's it going? Hope you're doing well. What is the number of the mouthpieces you're demonstrating here?
4.
Jazzy
Could definitely be used for that!
where is the store at?
We are located in Missouri.
Ok, now the real question is... when do you expect more in stock? hahahahaha
More trumpets and mouthpieces are coming soon!
@@trumpetthoughts "soon" lol
