Pretty sure that most P90 shells are held in place like that. It was a hard drop, so this was fully on me. I was extremely surprised that it didn't didn't cause more damage than that - I was sure it would be missing pieces after that freefall.
22:38 I wished Novritsch did an in-between version, where you keep the bridge part of the rail but you lose all the M-Lok part & the top picatinny is flat on the bridge. So you keep that P90 “look” & still have a low profile picc mount.
Increasing barrel length will not increase range - the only way to increase range is by having more power output - if you are limited in 1J, adding longer inner will only hurt you. I also doubt it will improve any accuracy as this already shoots incredible. If you want to keep the flat hop as good as it is, then you probably have to think about what barrel you are putting it in but you could definitely plop in any AEG barrel with any regular bucking and still be good to go as far as I could tell. But I personally wouldn't touch the barrel assembly unless something breaks.

22:00 & 24:40 interesting.. I’ve bought the extra M-Lok rail & QD suppressor together. It’s a shame the Novritsch team didn’t figure out a better way to do that. If I’d seen this video first I wouldn’t have got the QD suppressor & saved the money.

Wow, super underrated review. Well done!! I am looking for my first gun and I mainly play CQB, I've been following the SSR90 for a while now, do you think this will be a good gun for me? Since it's light, that makes it easier to manuvere as a beginner etc.
I think this is an excellent CQB gun, especially for a first gun. This one is good to go, no hassle, no upgrades needed. And you would be easily still use it for outside games as well since it can easily lift heavier BB's and reach just as far as most other AEG's.
I’m curious about the colorful amplifiers with the m lok attachment and future colorful speedsoft focused accessories novritsch teased. I think that would look sick.
Please, give me an advice. I have no such experience with AEG. I noticed that my SSR90 charging nozzle always remains pulled back after firing. Is almost completely stretched, so that is almost invisible in the chamber. According to what I know and what I seen, the nozzle should always be loose, so that it rests through the chamber up to the ho-up rubber. I'm a bit concerned if this is ok and if the tappet plate and its spring can't wear out faster over time.
That is pre-cocking. It can be set via programming. This improves responsiveness. If you want to release the spring, you can shoot full auto and that will disable the precocking temporarily for storage purpose.

When I remove the magazine and look into the chamber, I previously saw the silver charging nozzle that was loose all the way to the hop-up rubber. But after some shooting what happens now is that the nozzle is pulled almost all the way back and I can actually see all the way to the hop-up rubber. I'm just not sure if it's ok because I saw from the videos that the nozzle should be loose. (of course I then tried to set pre-cocking = in this mode the charging nozzle is loose and rests on the hop-up rubber. Actually, as I think it should be in normal mode/without pre-cocking) I think the nozzle after firing should not remain pulled back, in normal firing mode.
I feel like performance-wise they are very similar, I would say Scorpion is still a bit better in terms of accuracy and range (seems like it has some black magic stuff in there) but they are both very similar. Scorpion has very few things you can customize and change and have weird mags (but P90 also has weird mags so yeah).
Haven't had any other P90 in the past but this doesn't require any upgrades internally in my opinion. The only thing you could modify is adding an electronic trigger which is a pain in the butt regardless of which base you take. With P90, I would always go with SSR90 unless something better comes out.
Great vid! recently my aeg broke so I have to get a new one. So far I am looking at the SSR90, G&G CM16 SRXL, and the Krytac Trident. Which should I get? I am definitely leaning towards the SSR90 but do you think it would last and would it work well? The only reason I am hesitating getting the Novritsch SSR90 is because of all the hate he gets. Personally I have a lot of his products including several of his guns and they all work great. Why do you think he gets so much hate?
I would try to hold a P90 before making the choice. It's a great performing gun, one of the best I've tried but only time will tell how well these will last. Novritsch gets a lot of undeserved hate from internet "experts". Most of those experts believe they put a logo on an chinese replica and sell it at a premium. I think there will always be haters because of his origins as a TH-camr. I would argue that he's seriously pushed the insdustry forward in the past 3 years with the fresh mindset and way of doing business and not to mention making the hobby much more accessible to beginners.

Taking an existing product and modifying and improving it and expecting people to pay more than the sum of its parts is insane. This is airsoft.

Video instructions on every gun on how to take it apart to the last bolt, swap in any replacement part, do maintenance. 3. Have every single spare part available directly from manufacturer for almost raw cost price. 4. Have a selection of accessories that have been tested with the gun and ready to order without needing to worry if it's gonna fit or not.
I don't know hows your fake charging handle but mine is rattling and noisy like hell. Would be something to think of to make it quieter or develop something to remove the handle and fill the unsexy gap.
Mine rattles a lot as well - I was thinking of making new set of plastic handles for it that would stop the rattling or maybe making a small plastic piece to put behind it to do the same.

Update: I got it. I was very scared, because I thought , that the gun only will be good internally , but externally the quality will be the cheapest possible. I was incorrect. The gun internally and externally is very high quality. The ETU makes the gun so fun to use, and using 11.1 battery it litteraly sprays a laser beam of bbs. I could totally reccomend it to everyone else - it's the best gun out of the box for the price I personally had yet. My previous gun was Arcturus HK416 for ~360€, and even with the upgrades I made it's not even close to the performance of the ssr90.

14:25 ahh so does that mean the barrel is proprietary? I was thinking of extending the barrel into the suppressor for further range & accuracy.

I don't know, as if the gearbox stopped at the wrong moment of the cycle. On the other hand, the SSR90 is completely new. Anyway, I wrote to support.

Any word on the lower powered springs?
Can only get the 1.6j version here and it need to get it down to 350fps with .25s.
pretty sure you should be able to throw in any AEG spring and be good to go.

That's awesome to hear! I would suggest grabbing the Sandgrips and Odin adapter from our store - both absolue must haves for the SSR90.
