- In this video we share our experience flying business class on Ethiopian Airlines for the first time from Toronto to Addis Ababa on our way to South East Asia. This is not a common route but we chose it because we redeemed our Aeroplan miles for these tickets which is the best travel feeling!

Ethiopian food is delicious and spicy. But good enjra with zejni or ketfo its the best thing a man can eat

Thanks so much! We can’t afford it either, it was a special treat redeeming miles we’ve accumulated over the years with loyalty programs and travel credit cards. Hopefully we’ll have the chance to do it again someday 🤞

Thanks for watching! We would have loved to have the 1-2-1 layout but unfortunately none available for redeeming miles on this route.
There are airlines with 2-3-2 business class too (Emirates, Turkish, Air India) - 777 aircrafts. So 2-2-2 is not too bad 🙂 but I agree it is underwhelming for business class.

@@1v1ay Sorry we are not sure about that as we only had a layover in Addis Ababa. We did not need anything as we did not leave the airport.

It’s going to ruin us forever. 😂It was such an amazing experience, it’s going to be tough to go back to economy 😭

doesn't Ethiopia airline offer free of charge hotel room for their layover passengers?
Yes they do! We mention that in our next video where we have our layover. Our plan was to leave the airport and explore. However we were advised not to because we would need the yellow fever vaccine if we leave the airport in Ethiopia for other countries we are travelling to. Thankfully we had access to an awesome business lounge so the layover in the airport wasn’t so bad! Tune in on Wednesday for our next video. 😃
hello im from Phillipines my layover in addis ababa is 16 hours do i neednto presemt my yello fever certificate?
We did not need one for Addis Ababa, but the Philippines might ask you since you are coming from a Yellow Fever zone.
how is addisababa as transfer airport any comments?
Ethiopia 🇪🇹 is a beautiful country with friendly people, loved it there.
