Well since you asked… lol I met my husband of now 4 years at his brother’s house party back in 2014 1st of March.
We both weren’t drinking and smoking so that’s how we just started talking to each other. We talked till the sun came out and not once did he try anything funny so I was very impressed.
We actually didn’t even date because the second time we met he took home to meet his family and introduced me as his girlfriend. I was shocked to find out that I was then his girlfriend just meeting me for the second time.
Anyway. In April he won’t abroad for work for an entire month. When he came back he told me he wants to pay for lobola and that was in May.

“A huge part of me wanted to leave” - we ignore the little signs way too many times.
