Test Ride k time pe piche ek bandar ko ye log compulsory kar rakkha. Ye test ride is useless. Kolkata Triumph showroom Speed Motorcorp is the worst dealer in India.
Both of these are great bikes. Though the power figures are a bit less on the Honda but you get an advantage in the form of weight. It's lighter than the triumph by 30kgs. It's pretty fun to ride. Also I somehow feel that cb 300r is better in the corners than the triumph. Downside : it gets a smaller fuel tank of 9.7l than the triumph which gets a 13l one. Highly recommend you to test ride both bikes before making a decision. Hope this helps.
First year service cost is around 3k to 5k. From the next year the company said it's going to be lower than a RE classic 350 maintenance. Considering this point I guess you are good to go as a college student. Hope this helps

It was good. Pretty refined and quick but not as quick as duke 390
