Before this Bike Dilevered to me, i watched Shumi's video of bike. Now after owning this machine, everyday i feel how wrong shumi is about this motorcycle. He had said you will not be able to use the 40hp of this bike: NO, i am able to, this is the beauty of this TR series engine He had said you wilp get bored quickly: NO, the more i ride the more i enjoy He had said Vibs: Yes, it is there and every single cylinder bike have the vibs, but those are not irritating unlike Dominar and KTM's Comparision with others: Why?, you cannot compare this bike with others, it is entirely new segment they have openend, good in almost all the aspects so far. What more you get in 2.7 lakhs on Road? (Please dont compare with RTR 310 features) This is coming from a noob like me who have clocked 3k kms on this machine so far
Shumi says what he feels & it’s not always what he feels is something others would feel. I consider him one of the best out there but still I went ahead & bought this beauty despite his not so positive review about this machine. & that’s one of the best decision I have ever made. A lot of it was based on Sarge review of this bike. For that matter I would agree far more with Sarge (Sagar Sheldekar) review of this bike.
Underrated channel!! Unbaised, narration is so good though in the difficult riding moments, Came across this channel for the first time but gonna watch most of the videos.
Bikes are Never Chappris, its becuase of the riders bikes gets such Tags 😢 Remember 220 is such a beautiful machine but we always judge that it is a Chain Snatchers Bike 😂😂
We need more and more compact and minimalistic and bigger capacity engines with better performance, durability with high quality and stronger chassis components.
Owning this fir 3 mnths now.. guys it kind if has the wirst headlight.. i knw its LED.. but at night on 2 lane roads dont thnk of going above 65kmph and on open 4 lanes max 70-75.. and take ur risk for an 80.. the throw power is good, but the range is damn less.. the high beam just brightens up the existing patch of light rather than stretching upfront..
I've owned many motorcycles since 1967, some had adjustable levers and some did not. Honestly I have never taken advantage of them. I have never found the need to adjust the levers. So to me, I think adjustable levers are more of a sales gimmick than anything else.
I dont have any gearbox issues in my Speed 400 that you mentioned!.. Its slick & precise instead!.. Get your bike chain lubed every 500kms atleast & use a good quality Engine oil like Motul 7100 & see the difference.. The cons as of now I see in my bike are progressive vibes from 90kmph & gets very vibey above 130kmph.. Im yet to try my preferred engine oil.. So Im hoping the experience will improve with it.. Secondly overtly soft seat is a buttsore on long rides.. Finally meter console & fuel reading which is mostly not accurate..
Glad you didn't face any issue with the gearbox, the one I'm riding in this video is part of the pre booked bikes so could be an issue with the initial batch. The problem persisted even after the first service so could be specific to this particular bike or the first batch. Didn't do more than 100kms on a stretch but found the seat to be comfortable for me. I agree that the fuel indicator is very inaccurate, the fuel light often came on while the bike showed 2 bars of fuel for me as well.
Gearbox issue can be Bike Specific as i also didnt find any roughness in Upshift and Downshifts. I usually use throttle flick while shifting so even smoother. Engine oil which Nariana Service centre has used on my bike is HP Prolube 20W50 (yet to know how it will perform after crossing 7k to 8k KM's Mark) Petrol Indicator: so far it has given me accurate figures, the momen the light blinks it means bike have 4.5 to 5.5lts fuel left tested it many times in tank full to tank full. Yes i agree the real time mileage is useless it is giving different reading all the time ranging from 23-45kmpl But overall mileage it is showing very accurate Seat Comfort is a boon because of Cushioning and Suspension I have ridden 580kms in 7 hours and no pain in shoulder, wrist and lower back
Compared to CBR250R, how are the engine vibrations after 6000 RPM ? I also have a 2012 CBR but it isn't smooth after 100 kmph on 6th gear. How is it on the Speed ? I've seen many reviews but just wanted your opinion since you also own a CBR. So would be a proper comparison. Also, is it a fair upgrade over the CBR ?
It actually is a very good upgrade from the CBR 250. The vibrations do creep in at around 4k rpm but smoothens out when you go higher in the rev band. It is only apparent when you are actively looking to find the vibrations, otherwise it is a very refined engine with very little vibrations and you would probably not even feel them generally.
I didn't feel it pull to side but yes the fuel indictor is a little dodgy, cannot trust it, the fuel light comes on even when the indicator is showing 2 bars sometimes.
I am planning to buy Speed 400, but having second thoughts due to the heating issue as in my city summer temperatures go as high as 46-47 degrees. So I am confused between the 350rs and the speed 400. Any suggestions?
RS is Air Cooled so you won’t feel any sort of heat, but if you are buying any bike with a liquid cooled then you should be ready to face some heat. As the engine gets bigger, the heat will keep increasing. CB is brilliant & you won’t complain most of the time, yes you might feel it little underpowered once in a while.

Absolutely exceptional narration despite being riding at the same time. Kudos!
Thanks man!

As far as the gearbox is concerned, it will get smooth after 1st service. Have gone through the same.
This one had its first service a week before I rode it, still I felt the gearbox was not as smooth as I would have liked.
I am 5,4 and get lot of pressure on my wrists. Thinking to add risers or scrambler handle bar
Thanks for this! I too have booked this beauty 😍

@@abhimanyuverma2801 thanks. So the engine refinement is similar or better than the old CBR250R ? I might go for a test ride soon but still curious.

Yes. It is quicker than all bikes in the segment except for duke390.
Correct. And the continental and interceptor, then again, those are a more expensive by a lakh
