I feel like just each title of the Id songs helps tell some story points
I think they all are about robin regaining his memories
That transition from Return to Purpose felt so smooth
Hell, the transitions from darkness, to return, to purpose are really well done. The reverberation effect at the start of return is from how echo-y darkness was, but it slowly vanished.
That is so satisfying
The this the most epic moment of the whole game. Left the memory I cannot forget in my whole life.

Purpose is my fav but the feelings I get when listening to serenity are like none other

Sorrow will always be my favorite version of this song because of that one cutscene with Lucina. ESPECIALLY if you’re the one to marry Chrom. Even if the dialogue is only slightly different than normal, the emotional weight behind it knowing just how hard Lucina is trying to push past her love for you to do what she thinks is right is just… God, the series could have ended right at Awakening and I wouldn’t even have minded. I love Three Houses. I absolutely adored Echoes. I can enjoy Engage. I can even tolerate the existence of Fates. But if none of them existed? If Awakening didn’t revive the series and this was where it all ended? It would be one hell of a send off to Fire Emblem. What a masterpiece of a game…
That cutscene hits so hard if you are Chrom's wife. It broke my hard the first time I went through it. That moment right there, where Lucina just had to kill her own mother for the sake of the future of the world, yet she couldn't. Man, just because of that scene I couldn't let myself to sacrifice at the end, even if it meant not fully sealing Grima.

The fanart when Id Sorrow plays is really nice, that background would've been fitting to the part when you argue with Lucina about your future self killing Chrom, and the decition you can make there (even though it doesn't matter what you choose in the end)

Which reminds me that somewhere in an alternate universe, this game failed sales-wise, became the end of the series, and forced Intelligent Systems to work on the Advance Wars series instead.

Estoy absolutamente seguro de que los temas "Id" representan a Robin o específicamente el avatar del jugador.
Es decir, si está "Id: Sorrow" y tu avatar se llama Robin en realidad el nombre del tema es "Robin: Sorrow"
Es que además "id" es latín de "éso", como en inglés "it". Tiene mucho sentido en cuanto a temas musicales, aunque el "id" en Fire Emblem llegue a ser como las corrientes del destino o algo así, como la Fuerza en el universo de Star Wars.
Tambien pienso que tiene mucho que ver con como Robin se identifica como alguien aparte de Grima, por eso Id de Identity

ID purpose is the only redeeming quality of the final boss. Seriously that map is literally just a straight line with enemies
You can reach the boss and kill him on the first turn.
Awakening music was a sleeper. But it’s one I keep listening to.

id is a term in freudian psychology, which represents the part of the human psyche which controls desires. theres a lot more to it but that should be fine
