I did a tough bushwhack around our property the other day. It took over two hours to go 1.5 miles and I wasn't loafing. It was more climbing than walking. Some really rugged terrain just outside of the Buffalo National River boundary.
Looked like a nice little walk in the woods. Never been in Reeves Creek. The nearest I've been is Adkin's Creek. I need to go check out Pruitt Hollow too.

Yesterday for me my temperature was at 5:00 a.m. a whopping 4° f that's without the windshield on the way to work that 4° f was actually -24° f or slightly colder or by work since the wind's constantly or anywhere between 14 and 60 mph so it gets even colder over there

Know of any virgin forest in that area, Missouri Ozarks were cut pretty good
I think pretty much everything has been logged at least once. I do occasionally find areas with a fair amount of large trees LightDrinker5000.
