"I tried using 1 DCAL for a 500-litre tank 2 years ago. It softened the water, but the issue is that when we pump the water to the overhead tank, this device takes 24 hours to soften the water in the tank. After that, we can use the water. However, this isn't practical for us since we need to use the water immediately after pumping it to the overhead tank. Additionally, it only lasts around 8 months before all the particles leak out."
When DCAL is installed for the 1st time, to TEST we advice to wait for 24 Hours.
To use water no need to wait.

HOW TO TEST DCAL PERFORMANCE? Boiling Test. 1 ltr of Dcal to be boiled for 15 mins & allow to cool. There wont be salt formation & deposition on the utensil after boiling. Normal bore water will be having salt depositions after doing boiling test.

I am using more than 5 months not very much effective.. Still salt deposition I am able to see in taps and pipes and I am using two filters for 1000 litres tank. It is best you can buy ro waters instead of this filter…

NORMAL PROBLEMS OF BORE WATER: Calcium & Magnesium minerals available in bore water will settle on the surfaces & gets converted to calcium & Magnesium Carbonate salts, which forms layers of deposition, which is called scale. DCAL product prevents calcium getting settled on the surfaces
