I agree, I haven't seen any major bugs or issues (other than the game not liking the ridiculous Mega-Project), but I've had endless fun in this sandbox and look forward to what else they have in store!
A funny thing with the upgrade station, weapons which give additional melee or ranged damage when held can deal ludicrous amounts of damage, lots more than even typical high level items like the Phantom Spark. A good example would be the Scholar's staff or the solarite crossbow which both give additional ranged damage when held, at max level they give around 40% additional damage while their base damage is on par with Phantom Spark, making them easily better than Phantom Spark. Same goes for melee weapons. It might seem stupid but the difference in dps is huge.
I have recently persuaded my cousin to play core keeper with me, so I’m watching some videos of the new update which I haven’t tried out yet, so I know what to look forward to. Great job, keep it up : ]
Dang, it used to be that the Sunken Sea creatures would also leave you alone, which was extremely useful! Although it didn't make too much sense that Bubble Crabs and Tentacles were considered slime, but I wasn't going to complain, haha!
@@SwarmSeeker ahhh gotcha, I didn’t know about the sunken sea part, I just knew about the slimes lol, I’m just now getting back into core keeper and wanted to know more about shimmering frontier, I’ve yet to do the arena part or the worm boss
I'm glad to hear, I really enjoy Core Keeper! The arena is difficult, but the rewards are really good. The worm is a bit tricky and time consuming, but not overly difficult. Even facing all of the bosses simultaneously, the hardest by far is still Omoroth. Especially if you don't clear his arena first, haha!
As far as I've noticed, Caveling farms are the best for mechanical parts. There's more different types of Cavelings so there's more chance for spawning them if you vary the moss for the farm. I personally have a mega-project that collects a ridiculous amount of loot, and it's not even done yet; although, not sure if the game will give me any frames once the thing is completed, haha!
In the early access, I've found that the easiest way to beat them was to use the Phantom Spark bow. It summons ghost cavelings that can be used to distract a significant number of enemies away from you. I haven't done any yet in the full release, but if they haven't changed the Phantom Spark, I'd assume it would still be the most useful. Also, Jungle Emeralds are found only in the trials in the Azeos Wilderness, so make sure you're looking there for those emeralds. Hope this helps!
Well, each seed is procedurally generated, therefore, has it's own unique trial coordinates. I find it best to run around whatever area you need the corresponding gem in zig-zags to stumble on the Shimmering areas. Then dig in a bit to see if there's a trial, and if not, then continue looking elsewhere.
Just saying guys this guide is the worst if you hunt for emeralds and sapphires just go in the outer rim biom and search for litle dungeom in 80% of the chests is 1 to 2 deser ocean or jungle Saphire
Ah yes, Core Keeper.
It's crazy to me how much i enjoy this game even while it's still deep in early access territory.
A well polished sandbox game.

1.0 is coming out this summer!

That's an interesting idea, I'll have to look into that, since I could definitely use the extra damage!
Reaching passage before finding a single trial is so annoying 😅
Always enjoy your core keeper videos ^^
I'm glad to hear that you've enjoyed!
Those poor snails you trapped, they just want to live their little lives.
Their lives of careless freedom has been turned into ones of uncertainty, fear, and captivity. 🗿
Haha, the snails' lives are certain to be useful as my infinite solarite mine!

Thank you! Good luck when you get to the Trials, they are pretty difficult!
I got so lucky finding three of the laser cannon thing before even making any solarite
best ranged wepon is sorceres staff 2-3 shots anything. Mining damage and mining precentage is different to, precentage usualy is better
I agree, although it appears that the most mining I've gotten to has been all percentage except for the Tower Shell Necklace.
Im 30 seconds into this episode, first time viewer and i learned something.
Welcome to the channel! I'm glad that you learned something and I hope that you enjoyed.
The king slime set makes it so slimes don’t attack including boss slimes, all other mobs tho see you as fair game

What is your best method of farming mechanical parts? Nice video by the way

Found about 3, but how on earth do you beat these trials? So hard to find jungle emerals which is needed for most items to level up

@@SwarmSeeker cheers
Sun kelp is turtle food :]
Oh, well thankfully it's not useless anymore, haha!
Is there a cooldown for the shimmering trials?
As far as I'm aware, the trials are a onetime event so you'll have to travel around to different geodes to fight in more trials.
can you give location coordinate?
Well, each seed is procedurally generated, therefore, has it's own unique trial coordinates. I find it best to run around whatever area you need the corresponding gem in zig-zags to stumble on the Shimmering areas.
