I'm Scottish and I'd like to say despite how naturally gifted he is, he isn't the most intellegent of wingers, but for love of watching attacking rugby, he's one of the best in the world.
His defense skills leave a lot to be desired but I'll suffer that just for pure joy of watching him run through people. He's an absolute juggernaut 💪🏴
Nowhere near Penaud. Penaud knows how to defend and kick the ball, he's the full package. Duhan ain't. He's the size of a house but somehow is poor in defense I don't get it.

I can't speak for all South Africans, but personally I am glad we don't have him. In this year's 6N alone, Ireland scored 3 tries and England scored 2, all through him. We pride ourselves on our defence and he just seems to always be found wanting; only three clips of tackles in an 8 minute video and two of those three were bog standard tackles that any player at this level simply has to do. Makazole, Cheslin, Canaan, Sbu, Kurt-Lee *all* have a better work rate and when you consider that the leading try scorer from last year's URC (Leolin Zas) is not good enough to make the squad then you start to understand how far down the list Duhan would end up. Great player with ball in hand, but that is only ever going to be half the game..
Nah, I'm sure some Saffas are disappointed he left, but I'm glad for his sake. He simply would not have enjoyed the same success here, we have so many talented outside backs. Still very proud of him and wish him plenty of success.

Can't lie I think he's not that good at rug. He has almost no understanding of defense, his kicking game is poor and he's not amazing in the air. Hes like the new Chris Ashton. Every so often he makes some incredible runs, and has speed and power, but he is nothing compared to Penaud. Lowe's defense isn't perfect, but he's a beast in the air and he has a kicking game, same with Hansen. Wouldn't put him up with them.
