Yuki frustrated me the most 'cause at the end she stayed the same, she is not enjoying her Life one bit she is still surviving. At least she had character developement with Rina and i was sooo relieved that they stayed to be friends 'cause she needs a friend, damn all girls need friends who care 😢 I did not realise Sota could have a savior complex, in the live action yuki was sure that he would never do something bad to her so i was half-way sure she would take the opportunity and go with him but it also made sense that she didn't ...she probably needs to meet more people (men) with good intentions to free herself, was what i thought.. Because she does not sell herself i had the most hope for her to get better faster. What a foolish thinking when she sees what men do to her friend..
Speaking about Yuki, there's nothing to add, totally agree Thanks for recommendation, I've just read the limited free version of the book and just've ordered it. I'll be waiting for discussing it the next time ❤️

@@rziefebruary lol me too. I relate to Yuki sm since I grew up with abusive mother. She abused me physically and verbally, I'm literally messed up and traumatized by her. The only difference is I don't have that big scar like Yuki and I rebel and talk back a lot to her, and I have siblings not alone like Yuki. Near the end, the mother and Yuki somewhat reconcile but the mother being a b*tch like she always is and ended up choosing man over her own kid. That part broke me so much cuz it literally happened to me recently till now, my mother choosing her own happiness over her own children. Well at least she did it when I'm an adult so I don't get hurt that much (still hurt nevertheless). Thank you for your beautiful breakdown on her. Yuki's upbringing and how she's reluctant in romance, hated from being miserable and viewed as such, as well as focused on money without whoring herself is super relatable to me. Sorry for the long rant, I need something to vent about cuz I never think that someday there's a fictional character that so similar to me ❤️

I have a question didn’t yuki question her friendship with her double life friend? From what I remember it had something to do with her scar…….oh I think cuz her friend saw her scar as ugly or something

I dun think the characters in this series are meant to gain any closure, but it's still pretty realistic compared to many women's lives irl T_T
