Fascinating, thank you. Never paid attention to these jackets, but now I will. The embroidery is really beautiful. What a great interview. Thank you both :)
The jackets, their story, you and Kathryn were so interesting that I had to watch it twice. I hope that these amazing pieces really do become an exhibit or are able to be part of a permanent collection. Imagine the additional personal story of a jacket, as well. I would even love the tourism boards of Mexico and the United States to embrace the history of these jackets together in some sort of exhibition. There are so many venues to get them into public view for appreciation. The preservation of them is valuable. Thanks again
PLUS those gorgeous jackets have inspired me to get back to work on my needle felted jacket project. I love the tangential nature of niche information (well, all information. It's not like we can have too much). Again thank you!
I like the idea of embroidery on knitting. I am planning a Tyrolean for this year, but I think it's mostly intarsia, not embroidery. Can't wait to see what you might do!
I love this video. Does Kathryn have social media as well? I’d like to show her my small collection. I’m a Mexican vintage lover that loves these jackets!
Kathryn was a wonderful guest! Such a collection - I hope she finds a place wanting to display these pieces for the public to see and appreciate. ❤
I tried reaching out to my contact, but no reply yet. I hope she can place them, too....it's such a generous offer to donate whatever they exhibit!!!!

You're very welcome. Glad you liked it.
It was wonderful. What a collection. So unique. They must be shown. Art.
I agree! I wish I owned just one!

@@SpinningChickenStudio You're welcome.
The jackets are beautiful! I recently purchased a book called 'Embroidery On Knitting' but haven't attempted any of it yet.

Great collection might be a good idea to write a book to feature these designs? Would be worthy of a book !!
That's a great idea!
