Just going to cargo trailer make your own 4 quarts of the price it be just as good as a Colombian better depending on the hell your workmanship is.. but DIY is the key guys DIY do-it-yourself that's what I say that must cost at least 50 Grand..
Ended up picking one up this weekend. $17.5 with tent, tv, truma fridge and awning. Today's market I would say that's a good price. I don't care to wait 6mo+ to save $1000-2000, was the memories with my small boys I am after. This video really helped me feel confident in my purchase. Thanks again
@@MarkMangano was using a 2016 Honda Pilot AWD. We recently traded it in for a Geo Pro 19BH because we used it so much my wife wanted all the amenities. Miss it though. We did get a good price so when we traded in it was ok to take the $15k offer from camping world
New to trailers/RV world, stumbled here since I am looking at the NOBO 10.6. Great video. Thinking this might be the one for my family to enjoy nature. I also have a wife, twin 5yo boys and a dog.
Looks like its perfect for families with kids. Send them upstairs to the 'fort' and get peace downstairs! I like the sliding roof deck which becomes a patio shade awning, very smart idea. I wonder if we can use that for solar panels so that awnings become additional solar collectors and shade vehicles in the sun. The pull out kitchen is very Australian outback style.
Love seeing a camp set up. Ever since you did that parking lot tour of the guy with all the toys I've thought everyone would like to see it all in place (action?).
Love the set up, and the Jeep especially the retractable steps. I am a Ford guy, can’t wait for the new lines of Broncos. It certainly will give the Jeep a little competition. I did have a chance to meet you at Hershey RV show. Safe travel.
What a great dad. He's exactly right. MY father was an excellent survivalist, with the best ski training the 82nd Airborne could provide in Leadville, Colorado. I camped at Camp Hale one May on my way to Idaho from Gunnison, Colorado. It got below freezing that night, and I didn't vent my 3-season tent well enough. So I got a taste of the suck, but Dad got a full dose. So he COULD do it. He KNEW how to keep us warm, dry, etc. But why would he do that when he had a perfectly good, dry and warm HOUSE that he worked all day to provide? To him, taking us camping was like torture. He COULD do it, but he didn't want to work that hard on his day off. "Let me sit in my damn chair and read a damn book. That's MY idea of a fun weekend!" He just wanted to be left alone, so he could re-charge his batteries for another not-fun week of work. The few occasions he did take us anywhere on trips, he was in a bad mood and made everyone around him miserable. It wouldn't stop until we were around relatives and he pretended to be a good guy, and the rest of us got a break. This guy in the video thinks the way I do. And I bet he gets real satisfaction from making things (close to) perfect for his family. I ended up not having kids, because I knew I was too much like my father, and didn't want to put myself where I felt low and started taking it out on people around me who couldn't fight back. I'm pretty sure I'm not like that, anyway, but I'm not sure that being childless isn't the reason I had time to genuflect and mature. Having kids makes you grow up really fast in some ways, but it also stops you growing up in other ways. This guy's found the right balance. A true alpha male.
Good choice on the equalizer weight distribution. Not cheap but probably one of the best on the market. He optioned it out well with the rear view camera and power tongue jack.
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures Hershey show is on our schedule this year. Stop by the rv value mart booths. I saw your van the year b4 last there. Maybe I can give you a tour of display
Nice set up with a couple well thought out add on's. like that generator mount up front. Where can I get one of those??? I just purchase the 2021 model in the toy hauler version and the generator is a must have, but a pain to carry around once you get to your destination, a permanent location up front would be very cool. Does he run that while mounted there or does he have to remove it? Think I may be concerned about the vibration and exhaust while running on the rack.
Do you really need weight distribution for such a small trailer? Nice setup and great overview. I've got a Jeep KK and this would be the perfect camper trailer for it. Thanks.
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures Thanks for the reply. After you stated the loaded weight, I could really see where you're coming from. That's a serious rig right there. Very nice. And glad you got the family involved. They'll remember these times for the rest of their lives.
Patrick!! Whatta surprise! I've seen many of your Airstream vids, was quite surprised to see you here! Do you sell these little NoBo trailers?? I'd drive from LA to buy one from you if you do.
They forgot to mention that the "floor" storage, when top removed, and empty, lets you put your legs in it for a more comfortable upright sitting position.
Great video. We have basically the same setup. But I have questions about the weight distribution hitch used between the wrangler and the NoBo. Our lifted jeep is too high for a W.D. hitch. I wonder how he got his worked out?
Great Video and will be picking up my 10.6 up this week. Do you know where the cargo carrier (where the generator was mounted) was bought? That is a great idea!
I deliver travel trailers for a living and I like the smaller ones much better I would take this one you have over a 40' 1 anyday the only drawback is forest river makes us to bad grand design didn't make it. If you're thinking of getting something a little bigger look at Winnipeg's they actually are made by grand design or air stream bass camp

Nice Unit! I just ordered a 2021. Does the unit come with 2 Batteries? Some say it is prepped for solar some say no. Also if you can what is the cold weather package? Thank you for the video
It's a nice layout for a large teardrop style camper but some owners have reported major flaws in the older generation(up to 2019) NO-BO trailers. There are a couple of users on Expedition Portal that report the rear wall cracking at the corners, Interior framing of walls cracking at the welds, walls separating, roofs de-laminating, the AC unit working loose and more. Apparently the frame is only 14ga(barely 1/16") steel so expect it to flex pretty bad off road leading to more body issues. Not to be a 'Debbie Downer', I honestly hope Lex gets as much enjoyment out of it as possible with few problems, but potential buyers should do exhaustive research and beware of pit falls. There's a very good reason the serious overland trailers out of Aus tend to cost 3x as much(and weigh more).
