If you check the BTS concert videos CD/DVDs you would see his name credited as the choreographer He was also a Dance teacher, teaching many He was really young but is immensely talented getting paid to work with big artists and entering Dance college just with his self choreographed Projects If he wasn't in SKZ he would have been the Dance Master teaching the k-pop idols both seniors and juniors I feel really disappointed in JYP for not showcasing his skills

The only group as self-produced near SKZ, the only group that can match them in this is Seventeen. They have been producing, writing and choreographing their songs from the start of their career. Even saving their almost bankrupt company. I love both of the groups because of their hardwork and self producing and organic qualities.

I always cry watching them progress and grow in their own unique ways. They have seriously touched the lives of so many all across the world and have paved ways for future generations to do so as well. AND no doubt serve as an amazing group of role models for those who look up to them. It's insane but I feel like a mom watching her babies grow and achieve brand new heights. They have definitely helped me in ways I can not express into words and I will always look to them when life has me in despair. That is why they say Felix trained for a year (he joined in February and the show started in October?) and Chan says he was a trainee for almost eight years. Even though the show was a success, there was no guarantee of debut. The group formed from the show LOUD has yet to debut more than two years later (though the PNATION group has already debuted) so are all still trainees, if they are still with the company.

We aren't exactly sure much time between when the group was formed and when the show started). I think Seungmin may also have been just over a year. It might be why he and Lee Know are so close. JYP may not be likeable as a person, but the things he has done for promoting his artists are really appreciated.He's a visionary and provides area for the growth of his artists.He doesn't impose the kind of music the artists should make, but helps them discover what kind of music they are suited for. Also,with all the drama happening in Hybe,I think it's the best company for future artists(this is only my opinion)
I've seen the episodes where Lee Know and Felix got eliminated. The heart break hits hard but as I have got to know more of Stray Kids history, I think JYP, is crazy and a genius. The elimination of those two did a few things, first it showed how close knit the group was and he wanted a tightly bonded group; second it was good for ratings, third it also gave him a way to accurately guage the public interest in those members that might have seemed a little weak in public interest as well as guage public emotional connection to the group. Now I can't help but think that JYP's experiment to create a close knit group had likely gone way beyond anything he ever imagined and they weill keep going farther.
personally, i am not a fan of JYP himself, but i do have to admit that JYP puts a lot of effort to promise groups long-term success versus one hit song that will eventually die down. i believe he's stated himself that he wants to build a steady fanbase instead of garnering popularity from one song or album. the growth of stray kids was a long, uphill battle; though he put his trust and determination into forming a successful group. and long behold, they blew up following their release of God's Menu. even today, charting their latest tracks on the billboard 100 chart, and 5 consecutive billboard 200 #1's, they are pioneers to their generation in kpop, and ones to follow.

Little update on a bit of information: Lee Know didn't train at JYPE for a year prior to the survival show, he didn't even train for a month. He had weeks of training before joining skz and the show starting. JYPE has always been funny about stating how long he trained for, initially it was a year then we found out it was a month only to find out from Lee Know himself that it wasn't even that. It explains why they wanted to eliminate him, he'd never had formal singing training and had barely started to when the survival show started. That being said JYP didn't really give him the chance to get better either but look at Lee Know now - an insanely beautiful vocalist.
I just wished JYP could've let GOT7 loose to do more of their own music because of that he lost them they have so much talent in that group alone with JayB writing and producing his own music along with Jackson Wang, Jinyoung and Youngjae and BamBam, Yugyeom and Mark who was just learning how to do all that too. GOT7 would've been just as big as Stray Kid's. Anyway I respect that JYP paved the way for others. But he kinda put blinders on when it came to GOT7's work. Sorry for the rant. 😅🙃😬
There are other groups that are self-produced or more so...CONTRIBUTE to songs. None are self-produced to the extent of SKZ. Like they really be doing this thing fr! I think the term itself--self produced--is just being thrown around by fans for any group they like. SKZ produces 99% of their music in production, composing and writing, and that is a literal fact.

personally, i am not a fan of JYP himself, but i do have to admit that JYP puts a lot of effort to promise groups long-term success versus one hit song that will eventually die down. i believe he's stated himself that he wants to build a steady fanbase instead of garnering popularity from one song or album. the growth of stray kids was a long, uphill battle; though he put his trust and determination into forming a successful group. and long behold, they blew up following their release of God's Menu. even today, charting their latest tracks on the billboard 100 chart, and 5 consecutive billboard 200 #1's, they are pioneers to their generation in kpop, and ones to follow.

Little update on a bit of information: Lee Know didn't train at JYPE for a year prior to the survival show, he didn't even train for a month. He had weeks of training before joining skz and the show starting. JYPE has always been funny about stating how long he trained for, initially it was a year then we found out it was a month only to find out from Lee Know himself that it wasn't even that. It explains why they wanted to eliminate him, he'd never had formal singing training and had barely started to when the survival show started. That being said JYP didn't really give him the chance to get better either but look at Lee Know now - an insanely beautiful vocalist.

I just wished JYP could've let GOT7 loose to do more of their own music because of that he lost them they have so much talent in that group alone with JayB writing and producing his own music along with Jackson Wang, Jinyoung and Youngjae and BamBam, Yugyeom and Mark who was just learning how to do all that too. GOT7 would've been just as big as Stray Kid's. Anyway I respect that JYP paved the way for others. But he kinda put blinders on when it came to GOT7's work. Sorry for the rant. 😅🙃😬

I think the term itself--self produced--is just being thrown around by fans for any group they like.
SKZ produces 99% of their music in production, composing and writing, and that is a literal fact.
