    "Whose memories are those?" Just when we thought we knew everything. Legendary line.

    Fun thing to think about:
    What the look on Grisha's face must've been when Eren came home one day and said he made a friend named "Armin".
    And then later having a patient with a daughter named "Mikasa", who he goes out of his way to take Eren to meet, when it's not something he's done before.

    I'm not sure if you didn't explain that on purpose, or you forgot, but I remember that it was clear for me at this point of the show: that it's not about just touching royal blood, because then Eren could've used those abilities long ago, is not like he and Historia didn't touch ever. Although every time they touch there are some memory shenanigans happening, it's still not letting Eren use founding titan abilities. The key is that Dina was turned into a titan - and Eren touched >>a titan with royal blood

      That’s a key detail that many miss the first time they watch it, myself included. I initially thought all they’d need is for Historia to accompany Eren on missions. But the key is that they would turn her into a Titan, making her a mindless prisoner used only to give Eren access to the powers

    In the manga, it is shown that the reason why Mikasa looks thinner after being jailed is she is secretly giving Eren her portions of the meals.

    14:00 - 14:20 is exactly why the Founding titan kept erasing the memories of all the Eldians in Paradise Island and just wanted them to exist in bliss until they perished

    It needs to be a TITAN of royal blood. They would end up titanizing her kids, and empowering a random with the founding to bypass the vow.

    This is certainly one of my favorite episodes. Its beautiful from start to finish. Eren describing the coordinate. Hange revealing the truth while Eren connects it to Ymir withholding information (which at the time made no sense to the viewer). And of course the banger finale.

    Another thing with the foundings powers it that the royal blood also has to be a wielder of one of the 9 titans (titan shifter). So they'd have to make Historia into a titan and make her eat a titan shifter. But it can't be Eren becouse if she gets the founding titan, she's gonna be under King Fritz influence. So basically they'd have to make her eat Armin. Then after that she'd need lots of children and one of them would have to eat her within 13 years and so on. Also someone else would need to eat Eren, in order to keep the founding titan away from a royal blood. Then there'd be 2 shifters in circulation, having to be eaten seperately for generations, as long as they can in order to survive.

      @alexp3577 25 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Historia doesn’t really need to be a shifter, Dina was a pure titan and it worked. Now that I think about it- they would need to sacrifice only one child of Historia, since pure titans can live forever

      @@alexp3577 For Dina it only worked for a brief moment and from what we can see only regular titans. Though you could also be right. It's never specified.

      @@beastvicious8672 I assume this because even if it’s titan shifter - they need to maintain contact to use this power. And with Dina it was only a brief contact, so it makes sense that he wasn’t able to use this power for long

    I mean, in Japanese it was "Attack Titan" all along, but yea, the romanized English name it was supposed to but wasn't translated properly, probably that was intentional from the author itself I think.

    • @metallicakevin1
      @metallicakevin1 25 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      I'm pretty sure it was intentional

    • @andrettax6052
      @andrettax6052 25 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@metallicakevin1 Yea, but I wonder if Isayama wanted to shock even more westerners, because there is only one possible way to understand 進撃の巨人 for Japanese even if people say there is two translations, they are just thinking about textbook explanation of usages of の and stuff. So for Japanese that wasn't a shock, a lot of them probably never cared much if the English name was weird translation or not. So it seems he wanted to to give extra shock for westerners or something lmao

      Technically with the kanji used for Shingeki, the actual translation is more akin to "Charging, advancing" and "Attack" aka the titan that continually moves forward.

    SPOILER ALERT
    It just dawned on me that normally Titanshifters usually forget their memories after becoming Pure Titans.
    However, the Attack Titan is an exemption to this? Why? You already know. 😏

    • @jessbellis9510
      @jessbellis9510 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      They don't forget all their memories though, just those that were shortly before they were turned. Like how Eren had forgotten his dad came to him, gave him the key and then turned him into a titan.
