I think it makes sense you are telling her already available info, to manage it all. I remember when I watched Season 4 part 1, I was still sorting so many things in my head, I was so confused from time to time.
You watched sub didn't you ? You spend your time reading subtile that you don't remember things. I first watch dub and i didn't get that. Heck when i was watching this episode first time i already knew zeke was the beast titan. You know why? Because I was actually watching the animation and not wasting my time reading a text and then brag about how much of a fast reader I was. 😒

Pros and cons. You still learn things by rewatching because of all that you missed the first time, and it feels good to be like "how did I miss this?". There's some value in that.

The eldians have a few similarities with jews but they're supposed to be german. Their names are european and they look european too. The architecture is inspired by germany, specifically the walls are inspired by Nördlingen from Germany. You can also hear some of the soundtracks are in german. In this episode they also refferenced "the dark ages", which is associated with europeans. Ymir is nordic and has a lot of significance in northern mythology.
The jewish refferences are just the armbands and that bit in the intro. Internment camps isn't exclusive to jews, it's happened to many people throughout time. It even happened to germans after WW2. Also keep in mind the author is japanese. Japan were allied with Germany in WW2, so they don't tend to hate them the same way much of the west does. Also the entire world didn't gang up on jews, they did that to germans. Just putting it out there. The germans are still punished almost 100 years later. They literally have to pay Isreal many millions every year becouse of WW2, which pretty much no german today took part in. Btw i'm not german, just saying it's pretty clear who the eldians are supposed to represent.

Oof. That’s cynical, and quite harsh. He’s clearly *loving* seeing it with his mom, and she’s enjoying being part of his channel. I don’t think it can be purely about milking content. You prove that by pointing out the low view count. It takes too much of his time for it to be about views. This is a side thing he does simply because he enjoys it.
