简介

Synopsis
Despite his merits during the Sunshot Campaign to bring down the tyrannical Wen Sect, Wei Wuxian was feared by the world for the unorthodox path in cultivation he himself created. Thirteen years after he was killed, he is summoned into the body of a lunatic called Mo Xuanyu, who was rejected by his clan and despised by his family, therefore sacrificing his own body to Wei Wuxian so he could avenge him. He'll soon meet a cultivator from his past, Lan Wangji .Together, they will try to discover the identity of the person to whom belongs the dismembered left arm they found at the Mo house. What they don't know is that this mystery will lead them to unravel what lies behind the tragic events that caused the death of many people and of Wei Wuxian himself.

@@nvk225 well yeah but it indirectly was the cause of Jin Zixuan's death, if Jin Zixun had never gotten cursed he wouldn't have attacked WWX, WWX wouldn't have had to use Wen Ning to defend himself and thus Jin Zixuan wouldn't have died. Indirectly the cause of JZX's death WAS the hundred holes curse.

Apparently, to speed things up
I think it actually makes more sense for the hundred holes reveal to be in this scene. It feels more dramatic as it fits with the reveal that Su She is in cahoots with JGY, rather than in the Guanyin Temple where the reveal feels less important as we already know this by then.
@@シンジ碇-f8o I think both are fine. Revealing it here gives everyone a more solid reason to trust that WWX is innocent, that he wasn’t the one who cursed Jin Zixun. Revealing it in the temple makes it leads to the scene where WWX broke down laughing at his own misery and JGY’s provocation which gives the readers a more complicated feeling of not knowing who to side with. But either way, the plot is YUM

@@シンジ碇-f8o I think they're taking a more definitive approach with WWX being set up by JGY as the bad guy (the two arrays LWJ mentions that were set up at Qiongqi and Nightless) so we're supposed to assume here JGY also manipulated Su She to cast the curse.
(spoilers donghua watchers)
But the reveal at the end is coupled with JGY's other actions: sparing Sisi, protecting LXC, statue of his mother, as well as Su She himself claiming that he did it bc he hated Jin Zixun, not because of JGY. So more tragic than manipulated circumstances like in the donghua. I can't remember if JGY sent Jin Zixun to QiongQi or if that was just cql so might still be his fault tho.
