This was very informative, thank you for the advice. I'm halfway through a rainbow scrap yarn blanket in which I have been tying my yarn together between colors. I'm not going to start over but I am going to stop tying new yarn on and start adding new yarn like you said to because that is so much easier and NO MORE KNOTS! I have been crocheting in all my ends as I go but that was super helpful too!
For beginners like me can you show some tips on how to get your idea to creation, how do you know how many chains you need, how much yarn will be needed, how to attach transitions do you do it in blocks? How to decide what knots to use, what hook size. What program your using? If you don't have access to program can you do it on paper, thanks. Lovely project, sorry for all the questions really would love to know how you did it from scratch. Maybe a step by step follow along for a small blanket/ rug / pillow, Thanks. Keep up the great work, love it
A good website to use for tapestry crochet is stitchfiddle. You can add any picture you want and it will turn it into a grid, and just each square is a single crochet. It's helped me so much!
This is beautiful do you make all your projects in cotton. I do some tapestry for tote bag and I use acrylic. Want to see off cotton make a different look
Thank you! I mainly use acrylic but recently I’ve been using cotton. Cotton yarn produces a more structured piece and the stitches are a little more defined than acrylic.
The tapestry looks so cool omg
Thank you! I designed it using Procreate on my iPad and it’s based on a drawing I found :)
This looks amazing! 😍
That was your FIRST tapestry? Amazed! You did the thing, girl!
New sub.
It was my first large tapestry, I tried 2 smaller ones before that were smaller than a sheet of paper 😂 thank you for being here 💕
Your color work is amazing! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you! 💕

What app do you use for counting rows
I was unaware there were apps for counting rows, I mark off the stitches and rows as I’m crocheting and hope for the best
I use the app called MyRowCounter and It’s great!
Where u find the pattern?
You can find the link to buy the pattern in the video description :)
