The Taurus Judge is a 45 that can shoot other rounds, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the Taurus Judge. It is not a shotgun pistol, it's a 45 Colt that can shoot 410 Shot shells.. that's the problem that people can't seem to get through their head, it has plenty of barrel length 45 out of it making it perfectly capable for self-defense , in a myriad of situations from snakes birds or other game tho not the best at any. Paul Harrell never said it was a crappy gun watched if not every single one of his videos almost every single one of his entire video collection over the years for many years he also said there is better options and it's a fun gun to shoot.

@En-Pea-Sea as Taurus usually does, they release a firearm that's an OR version about a year more or less afterwards. G3/G3 toro, G3c/G3c toro, GX4-GX4XL/ Toro and so on. This GX2 will get a toro model in the near future and since the X moniker is being used in all their strikers I'm a little confident in a GX3 replacing G3
A seven shot 22 hornet or 5.7 snubby for power but low recoil and center-fire reliability. To make it snag free you could get rid of the hammer spur and just do a side pinch bevel on the side of the hammer for single action. Cock with your non firing hand.
I'm not trying to be a smart@ss, but calling laminated hardwood grips "presentation grade" is a bit of a stretch. If that's the case, every K98 Mauser from WWII had a "presentation grade" stock. Most guys out there don't even realize the wood grips we see on most revolvers these days are laminated (including the new Colt Pythons). There's nothing wrong with that, but calling them "walnut grips" (as Colt does) or "presentation wood grips" as Taurus does here is misleading.
Book. They need to make a 6 inch g3. The g3 is a great gun. They need to stop making poly framed pistols for a while, that agree with, after they make a real long slide g3. My problem with their meatl framed pistols are they suck. Soooo many failures for so many models that I was turned off of taurus. They need to make more raging judges that everyone can afford. With how many problems over had with my 1911 commander .45 this company is a fucking joke. Advertising cheap alternative. Could spent a couple hundred more and gotten 100x better with a colt or wilson combat..... customer service is useless. Ordered the part I needed a month ago it hasn't even shipped yet... now the websites down i can't even get my refund.... after doing my research the lifetime warranty is a even bigger head ache. The only benefit from this I went from knowing nothing to knowing more than whoever assembled my gun.... I ordered what I needed from ebay it'll be here before your part and I order that a month ago. At this rate I want all my money back so I can get a gun from another company I won't have all the problems from.... your extractor pin broke after 24 round.... your front sight was off by 1/8th inch on a 4inch barrel. You suck at this point I'll never buy taurus again...
Maybe Taurus should work on achieving satisfactory customer service before they worry about new models. Because getting an obvious runaround and having to ship the defective item back and forth multiple times on the customer's dime is NOT satisfactory customer service in my book.
Here’s the thing. Nobody trusts Taurus enough for this to work. Even if these are as nice as advertised, it’s an uphill battle to convince people of that. Most people will spend a little more for a Performance Center S&W (even though S&W’s quality ironically has gone downhill-but they have nam recognition and a good reputation amongst non serious shooters). I think Taurus would be better off trying to make a S&W TRR8 style tacticool revolver (the Raging Hunter 5” is wider, taller, 15 oz. heavier, lacks bottom rail, and has one fewer round capacity) that cost maybe 40% less than a TRR8. I do appreciate the Toro red dot ready revolver and the Deputy (SAA), but I predict this Executive line won’t sell well (even if such hate is unwarranted, as they seem nice, if a bit gimmicky).
I just bought my Executive grade Judge from Palmetto state Armory for 599$. I know it's not the best for self defense, but it is certainly not the worst option either. I have shot my friends regular judge before, and they are tons of fun. S&W Governor was 845$ listed. I will take my chance on the Taurus. ☺
