The lore of my Org is that it was originally founded by survivors of Virgil who decided to not settle in a new system but to band together and work against the Vanduul. Initially they would follow in the wake of Vanduul raids to do rescue and recovery missions to help other survivors. As their numbers grew they started spreading out into resource collection and stockpiling arms, equipment and supplies to fight the Vanduul. Ive been waiting for Lore Daddy to release a Fall of Virgil episode for years!
One of the funnier ORG back stories I've heard about was an Alien Slave Company a Banu Souli whose members are indentured slaves and have to pay back a never-ending debt. So that all the members were purchased by the Souli and by any means necessary pay off their appreciated cooperation. The more they accomplish, the more they are valued and the more they are valued the higher the price for their freedom rises for they are a treasured commodity..
As much as I love most all SC content creators, I have to say your work is very much paramount in keeping my interest in the verse. Love the lore of the game even if that too is mostly under development. Still, listening to the stories and seeing the tours on major events. Yeah, this channel takes the cake in my book :)
This is amazing- I am so, so excited for SQ42 to come out. This universe is so compelling, and the lore so rich and parallel to our own. It really sort of feels believable as the future of humanity. Love these epic stories of individual squadrons like the bloody birds.
I'm wondering, lore wise the Vanduul are considered a massive threat in the SC lore. So I'm wondering how many players would chose to take their PVE to Virgil and Vega to fight the Vanduul. Not just for the lore of fighting humanity's greatest external threat in lore, but for the possibility of claiming land, and the possibility of killing a Kingship. I used to Play EVE online, and I am fully aware of how the playerbase of that game views getting a kill, or even just being on a "caused damage" list. Beyond that, some orgs would even delight in the possibility of being able to board, and even potential claim a Kingship, or any other Vanduul ships, regardless of the lore of Vanduul ships self destructing when they might lose the ship. Beyond that you have your lore players wanting to be part of a push back. Orgs looking at the possibility of reclaiming the system and their resources so they could claim a portion of the land. You have players that would join the fight if threatened, or in a defensive measure, players who would follow to salvage, humanitarian players. Basically the Vanduul as the current "big bad" would mean at least a portion of the playerbase would be willing to fight and raid the Vanduul worlds.
@@Mikalent i played eve for 16 years, while i do see more pve for now, there is pvp in the game its mainly bounty hunter stuff, we dont know how org wars will work or if there will be sov like in eve, for now the biggest threat is the duul i think setting up a base to get missions from the UEE will better to be close to the front most of the Vega is till fighting and not destroyed but land should be cheap, My org is going to shoot for Merc's solders of fortune. but i also have an orion to either build stuff or sell ore to fund this big fights.

He helps make the game more into a connected universe then just a game
Wow, they really did a good job into making the Vanduul a very easy to despise villain.
I'm interested in the Tevarin POV seeing their community on Virgil and Vega were hit hard by the Vanduul raids
From a previous lore video it was stated that the Tevarin hold a particular hatred of the Vandul.
I imagine it’s not friendly.

Isnt Virgil on the west side of the Empire, not the east? Or is 4:24 "east of the empire" in reference to Terra?
Virgil was the first success of Project Farstar and for a time was the bridge between the western and eastern empires.
