Thank you Rev Bernard for an excellent explanation of God in human form.
Even if some of the expounding of this passage still remains unclear and "foggy" to some. One way to stay anchored to the true doctrine of God's word is to remember this one fundamental message: "So the Word became human and made his home among us" (Jn. 1:14 NLT) "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh... (1 Tim. 3:16).
Every other Christian doctrine or teaching has the above as its undergird. Once we have this vital doctrine settled in our mind then we won't ever see or imagine two or three distinct persons. God bless.

I agree. As you have done in this podcast, we must take the whole counsel of God’s word to understand the meaning of the description of the event in Revelation where the Lamb is in the midst of the throne as an expression of God manifest in the flesh in his sacrificial role. Thank you and God’s continued blessings be upon you.

The lamb is that holy thing born of Mary and called the Son of God.
Also, a prophetic vision doesn't mean it's a literal reality. Just as Daniel saw "one like the Son of man." It's a prophetic vision and not a literal scene

Thank You! The "lamb" was/is slain from the foundation of the world. Our existence COST God something. God made himself vulnerable. A part/portion/section/percentage of God died for a moment in our linear time as Jesus/the lamb.... BUT the 'good news' is...... even manifest in a vulnerable human being, God's holy/sinless spirit cannot die. A precedent was set (a big one!) God's spirit (of life) was/is now available in a form that can dwell inside a human being. That means YOU! Eat some. Drink some. Breath some. Grab as much as you can, as fast as you can! Give some to others! It's everlasting life! Like the loaves and fishes, it never runs out! It's an all you can eat buffet!

@rickypineda523 Jesus fulfilled the law because we couldn't do it. That's the point. The law still stands, but only to point us to faith in Jesus and his redemptive work. You and I can't fulfill the law. Stop trying, or you'll be held accountable to uphold the entirety of it. What do you think Jesus meant when he said to come to him for rest... his burden is easy, and his yoke is light? That's what makes him the Lord of the Sabbath. Don't trample on him (Hebrews 10:29). What commandments did Jesus give us? Read Matthew 22:36-40.

David Bernard can you please do a video on your podcast when you know the Name of God from Genesis to Malachi is YHWH. Why are you using the name Jesus for the New Testament when the Book of John chapter 5 verse 43 clearly states that he came in the father's name I would appreciate it if you could do a podcast on why you use the name Jesus Yeshua the Greek name iesous ect... I believe according to Acts chapter 10 verse 43 that all prophets bear witness of the name of God for remission of sins. I have searched all the scriptures that do not find any prophets stating that God would change his name at all. I believe in Acts chapter 4 verse 12 that it takes a name to be saved in baptism. So I don't believe that we would be using a meaning of a name to be baptized in,but the actual name. Just like Isaiah if you look it up in Hebrew means the same thing as Joshua's name as a meaning of a name it's Yahwah is salvation. But Joshua nor Jesus nor Yeshua is his name and I don't believe we can go buy a meaning of a name. So could you please do a podcast explaining why you do use the name Jesus thank you.

    Acts 4:27-30 MEV
Indeed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were assembled together against Your holy Son Jesus whom You have anointed, [28] to do what Your hand and Your counsel had foreordained to be done. [29] Now, Lord, look on their threats and grant that Your servants may speak Your word with great boldness, [30] by stretching out Your hand to heal and that signs and wonders may be performed in the name of Your holy Son Jesus."

The book of Revelation is a highly symbolic book but that does not mean that the symbolic things described are not happening. We cannot just discredit what John saw! Obviously no one is thinking that theres a literal Lamb taking the scroll out God's right hand, but to miss that there was literal action outside of the symbolism and imparting your own interpretation based on your beliefs is not good. If you take things literal until we uncover the meaning of the symbols, your exegesis holds descrepancy.
Basically, if you believe the Lamb is Jesus, replace the Lamb with Jesus and reread the text.

Our LORD God Jesus Christ took the scroll from Michael the archangel who is the one sitting on the throne and that is why he could not open the scroll because he is not the creator and only Jesus Christ can open it because He is the creator.

Like brother Bernard said, the scroll was like the deed to humanity. But humanity had to be redeemed. God in his Holy and perfect essence, could not become sinful to redeem humanity, but he manifested himself as a true human being to die for our sins. So in that sacrificial role as a slain lamb, a true human being, he can take the scroll from himself as God the one on the throne to open it. Notice what John says he saw in Revelation 5. John says he wept because no MAN was found worthy on earth or in heaven to open the seals. It had to be a Man that opened the book, a true human being. None of us would or could ever be found worthy to take the book and open the seals. Only a sinless perfect God who manifested himself in flesh could be found worthy
      Revelations 5:2-4
Rev 5:2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
Rev 5:3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
Rev 5:4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
Then in verse 5-7. the angel tells John that the Lion of the tribe of Judah has PREVAILED TO OPEN THE BOOK AND LOOSE THE SEALS. Him prevailing as a man was the only way the seals could be loosed. But this lion, who is the root and offspring of David (Davids maker and the one who came through the lineage of David), appears as a slain lamb in the midst of the throne. God, who was made himself flesh, a true human comes out of the throne but the throne is not empty because God is omnipresent, then dies for humanity and in his sacrifice and redemption for man, he is found worthy to take the book from the very Holy God on the throne and loose the seals that way. It was the only way it could be done.
      Hope this helps.

Who is the God of the New Testaments?
Question: For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
God's Son is Superior to the Angels:
      Hebrews 1:5-14
      King James Version
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
      11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Note: The angels said, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee, and again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son.
      God Has Spoken to Us:
      Hebrews 1:1-4
      King James Version
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
      2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
Note: Our Lord Jesus Christ when He ascended to heaven, He sit at the right side of him of Majesty on high which is the angel who took His position as the Father in heaven while our Lord Jesus Christ was in the flesh form.
Question: Who is this angel and how was he described?
      Ezekiel 28:13
Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
Note: The angel was described like a jasper.
Question: Who was the one sitting on the throne in heaven?
      The Vision of God's Throne:
      Revelation 4:3
And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
Note: It was an angel who was sitting on the throne with a rainbow round about the throne.
Why was the one sitting on the throne could not open the book with the seven seal?
The Vision of the Scroll with Seven Seals:
      Revelation 5:1
1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
Note: Because the one sitting on the throne was the original Father in heaven. He is an angel who take over the position of the Father in heaven while our Lord Jesus Christ was in the flesh form.
Question: Thus the Father of the New Testament has the power to Judge mankind?
      The Authority of the Son:
      John 5:22
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
Note: Because the Father is an angle and that is why he will not judge us.
Question: What is the description of the throne of Jesus in the Old Testament and in the New Testament?
The Vision of the Four Creatures:
      Ezekiel 1:5-14
5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.
8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.
9 Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
11 Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
12 And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.
13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.
14 And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
Note: Our Lord Jesus Christ throne is with the "Four Creatures."
The Vision of the Lamb Taking the Scroll:
      Revelation 5:6
6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
      9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Note: Our Lord Jesus Christ was sitting on His throne in heaven with the "Four Beasts."

@revbray Hi Rev. Jesus is not God. He's a man like you and I, though certainly no mere man. Listen to Jesus's own words here in John 8:40... "Yet you seek to kill me, A MAN who has told you the truth which I HAVE HEARD OF GOD." Jesus never, ever calls himself God, but does call himself a man... that's red flag #1. Red flag #2 is that Jesus says he heard from God... not the Father, who is also God, right? Just God. Please give me your thoughts on this. If you respond positively or with questions.
The Vision of the Lamb Taking the Scroll:
    Revelation 5:6-10
    King James Version
6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
    9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
The Vision of the Song of the Lamb:
    Revelation 5:11-14
    King James Version
    11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
Note: The one sitting on the throne with the book with the seven seals is Michael the archangel who represent our LORD God Jesus Christ when our LORD God Jesus Christ became a man. And the one who could open the scroll is our LORD God Jesus Christ alone because He is the true God and not Michael the archangel. Michael the archangel is only a creature created by our LORD God Jesus Christ and our LORD God Jesus Christ is the only one creator who created the heaven and earth.

Not true that Jesus was given all those titles. It is wrong to say or teach that Jesus is also the same one who revealed himself to Moses in the burning bush as the great "I am that I am" of Exodus 3:15. It is also wrong to call Jesus as the Alpha & the Omega as Revelation clearly shows that title alone only applies to the Father, God and not to Jesus as in Revelation 1:8. The pastor is contradicting the bible!

    Sir,
How can you be oneness and speak of two Gods ?? Yahwah and Jesus?? This brings confusion. Listen to what you’re saying .
    One God! One name!
Yahwah in the old testament is Yahwah in the new testament!!
God didn’t change His name or say that He would change it. Especially to a Greek/Latin name, a common name. You can’t be oneness with two names. Even trinitarian use one name.😢

@rickypineda523 I'm sorry, but you are mistaken. You are saying that Michael is "our Lord and our God" Rev 4:11. If you read the chapter completely, it will clarify it for you.
      Rev 4:9-11
      9. And whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,
      10. the twenty-four elders throw themselves to the ground before the one who sits on the throne and worship the one who lives forever and ever, and they offer their crowns before his throne, saying:
      11. You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, since you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created!”

    11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
    2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
    9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Note: Our Lord Jesus Christ was sitting on His throne in heaven with the "Four Beasts."

Jesus is not God. And he's certainly not one single being who is God. Just read the prayer in Acts 4:24-30 to understand that. Jesus says multiple times that he has a God (John 17:3, John 20:17, Revelation 3:12). Read Revelation 5... who is Jesus taking the book from? The one who sits on the throne, right? Who sits on the throne? Read Revelation 4:8-11. It actually makes less sense than the trinity (which are just inversions of each other, really). The churches are only showing you some of the scriptures to back up their false doctrine. They're Satan's churches. There's some truth in most churches... that's what can trick you.

I don't get it. Everything I posted originally at least shows that there is more than one being to acknowledge and not just Jesus. The trinity makes more sense, and I don't believe in that either. As far as Jesus being God, does God have a God? It doesn't make sense. Read Romans 5:11-19... that is what makes sense... it's explained to us very simply. Jesus is a man, just like Adam, who God used to reverse what Adam had done. That's why Jesus is the Last Adam. Read 1 Corinthians 15:20-23... it explains further. And for Oneness believers, continue reading through verse 28. Is there one being or two? Who is above who?
