Bro ! One thing your wrong about is ~ The statement about doing things to please Allah ~ It implies that Allah has an ego that experiences pleasure and displeasure ~ Allah is a divine being ~ There is no impurity in him whatsoever ~ He does not experience duality like we do ~ Everything Allah does is the right thing to do ~ As human beings we have a sense of duality ~ We can do what is right ~ And experience the consequences of our right action or we can do what is wrong and experience the consequences of our wrong action ~ When we do what is right ~ We are blessed by Allah ~ When we do what is wrong we receive no such blessing ~ When we receive blessings from Allah ~ We should show our gratitude to him ~ By sharing the blessing we received from him with others ~ We honor Allah by honoring his creation ~ By sharing the light of Allah with all of humanity ~ The love that Allah shows us ~ We show to others ~ The kindness Allah shows us we show to others ~ The compassion Allah shows us ~ We show to others etc.. ~ So the main goal of Muslims ~ Is to honor Allah by doing the right things and avoiding the wrong things ~
