I was thinking the same thing. So many videos on here where people seem to have no understanding of how to run a plow. Same goes for snowblowers. So many people create so much extra work for themselves.
I really like having the plow on my tractor. Like you showed, it makes quick work of the snow and does an excellent job. I built my plow with the pivot geometry different. My plow pivots near the attachment plate and this shifts the blade in the direction of the turn. The problem with the conventional pivot point is that the tractor drives in the wind row as it turns. Moving the pivot effectively made a wider plow without the plow being wider.
Wow. Just got a 60" plow for my loader a few weeks ago and you make it look way easier than I found it to be so far. I'm inspired to try some of what I see here next time.
I have a 1025R and the AF10F plow like you do, also with 3rd function. I've used it 4 years now. It's the best in my opinion if you have a long driveway with a ditch on one side and trees on the other. No room to drive off and dump snow like you would need to do with a bucket or snow pusher. Nice video.
Sure It's a 60 inch Frontier AF-10 Snowplow with side markers, rubber flap and hydraulic angle kit all through Frontier You purchase it through your John Deere dealer Hope that helps you out Thanks for watching!
Refreshing to see someone that knows HOW to plow snow.... nice job.

I just ordered a 2025 with LED lights. I am glad I did.

It definitely takes some practice
The level of the blade makes it work the best
Thanks for watching!
The Frontier Af-10 levels with the bucket leveler same as the bucket
Hope that helps
It makes plowing snow fun! Lol

Nice job plowing the snow 👍
Only bummer about plow is that it screws up gravel and grass.
Add Artillian rubber extensions.
Obvious but always check the blade is unlocked.
Thanks for the video. What size is the blade?
It's a 60 inch blade
Thanks for watching
Can you please give me the info on the plow? Model#? Thanks.
Sure

Third function needed?
Yes
The third function is the angle of the plow
I'll still curle the level of the plow depending on the grade
Thanks for watching!
