Ingredients:
For the Dough:
- Zest of 2 medium tangerines
- 90 grams softened unsalted butter
- 50 ml tangerine juice
- 200 ml warm buttermilk
- 80 grams light sour cream
- 1 tbsp homemade vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 400 grams all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 100 grams monk sweetener
For the Filling:
- Zest of 3 medium tangerines
- 1 cup monk sweetener
- 1 stick softened unsalted butter
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 8 oz mascarpone cream cheese
- 1 stick softened unsalted butter
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp tangerine juice
- 1 tbsp homemade vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 tangerine
Steps:
1. Prepare the dough by combining all the ingredients, kneading till smooth. Let it rise for 1-2 hours.
2. Roll out the dough, spread the filling evenly, then roll and cut into pieces.
3. Bake until golden brown.
4. Mix all frosting ingredients and spread over warm rolls.
