Sir, is IIT(ISM) Dhanbad old and good IIT?
It is a very old college, its a good one, but is not a typical old IIT
Sir,then IIT Guwahati and IIT Roorkee is also not a traditional IIT as IIT Guwahati's foundation was laid in 1996 and IIT Roorkee was converted to IIT in 2001??

sir jab hum mtecg 1st sem me hote hain toh hame professor select karne hote hain ya professor randomly allocate kiye jaate hain, If we like some professoer and had heard about him alot how can we choose to work under that particular professor.

What are the things you have to do in TA work?
You will be the Teacher's Assistant, so it depends on the teacher what you will be doing. But typically, you will:
Help in organizing lecture content.
Help in creating tutorial problems/ question papers/ quizzes, etc.
Help students in solving their problems (in labs and also in class).
Invigilate during exams and Evaluate answer sheets later.
Sometimes, you may also be asked to conduct a lecture, if the professor is unavailable.

@@EdSharpener will there be any impact on final year degree as part time or regular. Since I am a working professional and I can't leave my job because of family financial issues.
