    Hi Khang,
    My Reaper growths perfectly but there are no fruits and in the leaves are plenty of yellowish stuffs and tiny little insects running all over the pots and along the plant's body and its leaves.
    I mixed soil with chicken manure. Is that because of that reason? I sprayed different liquids to kill the insects but they still keep killing my Reaper.
    Can you help me, please.

    Nice video. Just picked all the remaining peppers off my reaper plant. Many still green. Can I ripen these off the plant?

    • @KhangStarr
      @KhangStarr  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's best if you cut the whole branch and hang them in your garage upside down. The mature pods will ripen better this way.

    Kang. I have been looking around for those pumpkin habanero's and can not find seeds anywhere . The only seeds I have found are called starfish habanero, and those look nothing like your pumpkin habanero's. I haven't grown any other different peppers just jalapenos, Serrano's, and this year I'm trying my hand at ghost peppers they seem to be doing well. Thank you for all your helpful videos.

    Please HELP! My Ghost peppers are getting this brownish coloring around the top near the stem. It doesnt really look like rot and almost like it is chocolate variety that is ripening but I have already has peppers from this same plant turn red.
    Everything seemed to be fine up until a few weeks ago and now one by one they are getting these brown spots before they can ripen.

    What is the NPK?

    • @philxray666
      @philxray666 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you haven't worked it out by now....N-P-K: The elemental shorthand for the three major nutrients in fertilizers. “N” stands for Nitrogen, “P” stands for Phosphate (P2O2) and “K” stands for Potash (K2O). These are the chemical forms of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium that are present in fertilizers.

    • @wege85
      @wege85 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean what ratio he is using. Sorry english is not my native language. My NPK ratio is now 1,45-1,04-2,16. Already harvested over 400 grams chilies of one bhut jolokokia yellow of spring to yearly summer. ibb.co/nDmPLJ . The bhut is two years old.

    • @philxray666
      @philxray666 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry, your English was not so bad, just my interpretation.. I hope my own bhut jolokia do as well as yours, I've got three that are three months old now but can't go outside for at least six more weeks.

    Hi. I would like to ask you what are you doing with cross pollination issue? Is it a big deal? How to prevent that? Or it's just unavoidable thing? I have got a huge balcony and growing Butch T, Jalapenos and Chocolate Scorpion. The Cross pollination is a worry to me as I do not want to mix the strains. Spring in Australia just started. Any advice ? Thanks

    Hi there just new to growing peppers and chillies once u dried them out for the seeds how long can u keep them for and would u recommend a certain amount of time to plant them? Cheers

    • @KhangStarr
      @KhangStarr  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I usually keep mine in small zip loc bags and they will last for over a year. I always recommend planting them before 1 year. There are ways to keep them longer.

    Khang,
    What is the lemongrass growing with the pepper plant for?

    • @KhangStarr
      @KhangStarr  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a test to see if it will deter bugs.

    • @anthonytran9191
      @anthonytran9191 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Khang Starr
      Hows it working out so far? Let me know some updates. I use lemon grass often and it might be cool to grow it and deter bugs too. 2 in 1 deal.

    • @KhangStarr
      @KhangStarr  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't see many bugs on my plants, but it does not work for mites. For mites, I had to crush the lemongrass, mix in some soap and garlic, then spray the plant. It deters a ton of bugs, even thrips.

      @benniehanas 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks a bunch. If they only made these also for 15 and 30 gallon grow bags too. That would be amazing. These 16inch ones for 10g grow bags will work for peppers though. Added to my wishlist haha. Another cool thing they should make would be 3 inch tall grates for the bottom so you can air prune the bottoms of the pots from time to time.
