Leyton Orient fan here. I've always had a soft spot for QPR going back to the day's of Marsh and Roger & Ian Morgan Good luck for the rest of the season. 🤞
It's depressing lads and lady's but Keep the faith remember who we are we are QPR. Hoops and dreams I love your content I watch every week great show lads!
We really appreciate that! We are keeping the faith (just!) but as Joe said in the show we need 4 points minimum from these next 2 games and the whole vibe around the club will change. Stoke is such a big game.
Joe made two good points to say the least. The team does not have player cohesion and Joe said that MC is basically happy to not use a front two if not one. The reason Marti is losing it, is without proven strikers who are fed, he is relying on others to score goals which puts the team on the back foot making it much harder to score. The other point is that FFP is a guide yet poor cohesive recruitment and players not gelling this team will be relegated. There is also a lack of character and fight. Perhaps the only way out is two gutsy players are signed in January who don't just have ability but grit of character to motivate other players at the club. QPR need a big shake up as the writing has been on the wall since the club failed to renew Warburton's contract.
@daviocampi6951 in Joe's defence I would suggest he made loads of good points ;) but the two you have highlighted are good ones! We almost have a conflict between what Marti expected to be playing and what the team's abilities/injury list permits. Frey is the only striker making any real impact, and the loss of both Chair & Dembele has stifled much of the creativity we hoped would generate final third moves and also goals.
@bryanfisher4521 yes an astute observer Joe, 👍the lack of foresight by the hierarchy continuing to change managers creating further instability and the lack of insight regarding the whole player, not just the data has contributed to where the club is. Marti did an excellent job to keep the team afloat last season, but where is the new foundation for this season? Where is the identity of his team? It lacks fight and they cannot string it together sorry to say. Thanks for responding Brian.
Good video Bryan, Joe`s comments spot on. The fact that we don`t have 4 cb`s [ Cook is old & Jake is a croc ] and at least 3 st`s is crazy. The blame is Nourry, Belk & Marti - they just don`t seem to work together.
Thanks mate, yes when our first choices have been injured our back ups haven't been available either and that's led to us playing so many players out of position. Awful start to the season but if we can beat Stoke the world will be a different place
@@hoopsanddreamsQPRI think Nardi, Cook, Dunne and Field are the only players to feature in all league games. Echoing Joe's point, it's obvious JCS and Colback injuries are hurting QPR. They were key in the survival campaign last year. Frey's absence is also a problem with no obvious deputy. Inability to select the first choice spine of your team, whoever you are, is always likely to cause a drop in performance.
@@HerFatherDidntLikeMe JCS and Colback are THE most important team members. We generally don't lose when JCS plays and our points per game is always highest with Colback. The others all have less impact. Look at Chair... he came back and nothing changed.
@@hoopsanddreamsQPR You are right, Chair has been underwhelming to say the least. I'd cut him a bit of slack because he's coming into a struggling, injury plagued, side. He shouldn't lack motivation though. He should either be driven to help QPR or be putting himself in the shop window if he is craving new pastures. Quality content as always, folks.
Thanks Bryan and Joe. We need to weather the storm until January...start winning the home games. Then as Joe suggests look at League 1, 2 and 3. I would add Scotland and Ireland too. There are plenty of physical talented players who don't cost a packet and can adapt easier to this type of football. We still have time on our side.
Yes I (James) have this exact subject in my preview show notes for next week... it's now all about getting to January somehow in touch with the teams above and then try and add some depth and Championship experience .
Yh spot on we are the worst team in the league don't see it changing any time soon don't know how we are in this position so much positives heading into the season going to the stoke game just hope we can finally get our first home win
Great show lads We are just a bad team We could have lost every game this year I said we would struggle this season Everyone saying middle table or higher We may finish mid table hopefully No defence No midfield No strikers Up stairs have a lot to answer for What do you guys think
Agree we are lucky to even have 10 points, a terrible first few months. Upstairs are the most culpable for our position. It's not just the recruitment that is an issue either - they seem hell bend on creating a divide between the club and the fans which is only increasing the animosity.
The owners are the issue. who on earth hands the club over to a a kid in his 20's with ZERo football experience, and lets him become CEO AND DOF?? our recruitment has been dire for years, yet still we have the same recruitment head (belk). Remember, this is the owner(s) that called Warbs after being top isx for months when we had 8 injureis and dropped out playoff and said he was probably gonna be replaced. FFS!! anything we say or think as fans is largely moot whilst these guys are the owners. and there is VERY lkittle chance of them selling, as who would buy us. There are rumours of "project Big ben" floating around about a new stadium developments. Linford christie has the builldozers in this week by coincidence. and we have o reilly, a property development millionair as a major shareholder.
Totally agree with you, the club needs new owners with fresh ideas and who are actually invested in the club day to day. Our owners are never seen or heard and it harms the club. They also get drawn in by the likes of Redknapp, Beale, Nourry time and time again.
I imagine Nourry is a stubborn (and arrogant) little so and so too, he won't want to look like he was wrong and change his plan, so we can probably expect more of the same in January
Sorry but MC has lost the plot and needs to go ASAP. Forget the last few months of last season, and MC keeping us up. We had some fluky wins and were playing teams who had nothing to play for. This season has been a total shambles. Awful signings, played out of position, trying to play to a formation and style that is just lamentable.
You won't be alone saying that. I think it's a bit harsh to say we had fluky wins, we were fighting for our lives. Leeds were playing for automatic promotion when we beat them. Birmingham were fighting for survival. This season has been a shambles, we all acknowledge that, but a few games aside I'm not sure what else Marti could do.
where is nourry????...bottom of the league and silent, truth is the squad is poor, the 3 players that have really been terrible for me is zelar/santos/madsen....
Can't see us hearing from him again any time soon. Like I said in last weeks preview show he'll either be sacked or suddenly find himself 'headhunted' for a job abroad within one of his own companies and he'll never be seen again.
If you sell your strikers you are not going to score. A simple logical deduction that any manager should realise. I would like to see Mark Warburton reinstated or we will be in free fall.
I very much doubt Marti was happy they sold Dykes and didn't replace him. Unfortunately we will probably never know who made those decisions, we learn so little these days from the club. I would like Warburton back at the club though in some capacity. DOF maybe even.

Joe talks so much sense!! Nourry out!!!!
I agree with both points!!
@pikehead1 I just had to ask the questions and Joe starts talking sense! ;)
