80% of my hunts are on the ground. I get busted just as much as in a tree. You NEED to pay attention to the wind. Sometimes, you just don't hunt. I harvested my archery bear last fall 10 yards on the ground. A crazy rush! I shot, and he ran 3 feet from me. I put my bow up, ready for impact. He didn't know I was there.
I hunt hours in a traditional saddle they're not near as uncomfortable as they might seem. I did by myself a JX3 for all day sits or sits longer than 8hrs or so. We'll see if it's worth the extra weight and bulk. My fear is being too comfortable and sleeping when I should be hunting
I hunt from a Summit Viper that came with 2 side bags for gear, I love it. That saddle system looks pretty sweet though.

U will sleep very light. When you hear one crack your eyes will open as big as saucers LOL
