"there's no skipping steps in copycat recipes" 😭😭 omg i love your dedication towards your video! You put so many efforts and we see it! Thank you very much for making this video, we love the copycat recipes series.💞
Parisian hot chocolate is no joke! I had a cup of "chocolat chaud" at Angelina's in Paris, and it was pure, next-level molten lava choco-goodness. Nearly 30 years later I still remember that experience vividly. I hope many people try your copycat recipe!
My husband loves when you do this series. When I try these recipes from these videos, he is my tester. When he heard your voice, he asked which series it was then I heard him clapping from the other room when I told him. We are going shopping tomorrow, and the list has been made. I cannot wait to try most of these. I shall try the soup and hot chocolate once it cools down more. But the sauce and biscuits are being made tomorrow!!! Keep up the great work Raphael! Kisses from California.
Rapha is getting better recreating these copycats. Like he follows now every important instructions and providing the exact kind of ingredients for each recipe. Also, glad that he uses a phone to show us the video while cooking/doing something instead of always trying to show us what he does in front of his main camera. So happy ☺️☺️☺️
I will miss him dropping pretty much everything as he tries to show us though. It was always so funny bc he would always be like "is it going to fall? No?" *falls* "There it goes"
7:30 I used to work at the chicka-fil-a factory and I can tell you for sure there are no blinders there. Its just a factory full of people whisking those 3 ingredients together. The trick is that they also make their own coleslaw dressing in house, they do use sweet baby rays though. Also FYI they use a spoon to fill the dipping cups.
Happiness is 2nd video in a week. I was thinking of crying myself to sleep but I guess I'll feel happy enough to sleep peacefully after watching this video thank you Rapha✨💗 ( it's middle of the night here btw ) On my way to make myself a hot chocolate and then back to watch the whole video again before sleeping 😌. Free therapy for me😁
if you're short on time or bisquik you can buy premade red lobster biscuit mix at most grocery stores in the US. you just need some shredded cheese and butter. if somehow you manage to have leftovers, reheat them in the oven for a 2-5 minutes, depending on your temp, with some more melted butter and garlic. i cannot WAIT to try that broccoli cheese soup recipe, it looks so good!!
I've never tried these biscuits because we don't have a red lobster where I live int the UK....I don't think the UK has one at all if I'm being honest but they look yummy.
It's been hard for me to regulate my emotions lately and my favorite person left for vacation. Thank you for uploading, I might have gone crazy if you didn't. You're one of the most genuine TH-camrs on the platform and seeing you so excited to try new things makes me happy. I hope you're managing well in your new home, thank you for staying you

My grandma taught me to cut the butter insto small cubes fresh from the fridge. And then use clean hands to break the butter into the flour until its like little beads of butter all through the dough :) THOSE LOOKED SO BOMB
Freeze the butter for 30 mins and then grate on a cheese grater before adding to flour. A pastry cutter is better than using your hands because hands will melt the butter. The point of using super chilled (or frozen) butter is to keep it from melting until it’s in the oven.
from a starbucks barista who isnt me: sweet cream is 1 part vanilla to 1.5 parts 2% milk to 3 or 4 parts heavy whipping cream (in between but math isnt my strong suit), key is it has to be cold enough to hold the foam consistency but yaaaaa u got it!
You are such a joy to watch. You speak so eloquently and you are so intelligent. I enjoy how enthusiastic you are and I am so glad I found your channel. Keep up the fantastic work
Welllllllll, THIS ONE was soooo good I had to save it in my "omg I HAVE to make this" folder! Thank you, and PLEASE never, ever, ever stop making them!!
The easiest way to make the biscuit dough is to cut the cold butter into small chunks and work in with your hands. Gotta get messy lol. Edit- the "pea" size is you'll just see little pea size chunks of cold butter in the dough jus incase confused. It looked rly good!!
there is something satisfying about making biscuit dough from scratch and mixing the butter and flour with my hands. I’m visually impaired so I have a problem telling how well combined dough is. Mixing it by hands allows me to feel the fine sand crumb texture that you need in good biscuit dough
It is so empowering watching you create.these recipes that may be otherwise intimidating for the home cook! Thank you so much for doing the research and gracing us with your cooking skills. You are so inspiring! You are gonna be so next level if you keep this up!
I think with the Chik sauce you just need to use a more mainstream coleslaw dressing as it's unlikely that they would use a gourmet one at the restaurant. With the broccoli soup you don't want to have it at a boil when you are working with a cream sauce. Love your videos!
OMG there is no way. I used to watch your videos like wayyyyyyyyy back. And then for school and stuff I had to stop. Guess what 5 years later, u get into my recommendations. So good to see u again
As far as that Chick-fil-A signature dressing, the coleslaw dressing you chose uses black pepper, most coleslaw recipes use white pepper. A slight difference in looks and flavor. Also, all 3 of the ingredients you used have so many different flavors, depending on the brands. If your end product has a specific color, flavor and texture. Then you will need to be brand specific in your starting ingredients. And be consistant.
The cornstarch on shredded cheese usually helps thicken soups. If you shred your own cheese, you can use a slurry of cornstarch and cold water to thicken after it's melted.
Can I just say how impressed I am to see someone of your generation with a full kitchen. Nothing more frustrating than watching a cooking video from someone without the appropriate tools.
Hold your roll sister he was measuring wet ingredients in a dry measuring cup he also used a tablespoon and just filled it about halfway and called it a half tablespoon. You don't need a bunch of fancy things to be able to cook trust me.

omg i want to try every recipe of this video!! but the chocolate one was my favorite!! is really impresive. i apreciate the effort you put to make only the best recipes!! it shows your love for the thinks you do
For combining the butter and the Bisquick this is a common procedure for making biscuits in the southern US. Keeping the butter cold and then not mixing it thoroughly with the Biquick leaves little chunks of cold butter coated in the Bisquick (the "peas" mentioned in the recipe) rather than a homogeneous mixture. When you bake with it like this, it creates an airier biscuit.
A waiter once told us a secret the staff do with the biscuits- you ask for a side of raspberry sauce (it’s used for one of the desserts I think). Then you spread it on the biscuits! So good!!
Those red lobster biscuits are legit, I've been making them for 25yrs that way(I got the recipe for them that long ago lol)&the recipe u have is the same as mine&Rapha the fact that you put 8hrs into ur videos for us is so insane, you are so underrated and I adore you!!! GOD BLESS ALWAYS✌🏻🧡🙏🏻
I've been making the red lobster biscuits for about 22 years.. The recipe is (or at least used to be) printed right on the bisquick box! Great job on these, the broccoli cheddar soup and chick-fil-a sauce were awesome!
I saw one of your videos on Facebook a few months ago and I was so annoyed that I couldn’t find your TH-cam channel because I forgot to look at your name!! Thankfully the algorithm pushed your videos back into my feed so now I can follow you on here!! ❤️❤️❤️
The Red Lobster biscuit recipe is on the back of the Bisquick box so no one is gonna be coming after you that's for sure. I think it differs by one thing, like maybe it doesn't have salt on the melted butter so you don't get that nice salty hit that the Red Lobster biscuits have. But it's been so many years since I've made it these are hardly a secret. And once you're tired of making the biscuits you can use the mix for biscuit flavored waffles and pancakes and plain biscuits, they will all have that Bisquick flavor to them that is so uniquely Bisquick.
In the future to cut cold butter into flour, you should use a utensil called a pastry cutter or two butter knives that you drag passed each other through the mixture also works. :)
I always trust your copycat recipes and I have tried a couple of them and I always get surprised at how good they are, so yeah, I'd love to see more, but at your own pace!
