    Hey that is so much for making this video! I just bought my harpika and I'm having trouble tuning it! Yours sounds so beautiful! For an example the first strong of the left is a D. Can you tell me what octave that string should be as well as all the other strings?

      Thank you my friend 🌹The first seven notes of the fourth octave of the piano, the second seven notes of the fifth octave of the piano, and the last three notes of the sixth octave of the piano.

    It sounds amazing!
    However I have a question, is there any difference between a flatboard and a hollow harpika?

    The harpika is a traduction of the k-Hyun name ? Because they look the same but also I see it as a fingerplay lyre in AliExpress so I’m confused

      Takes a little time do the change from kalimba to harpika, cause you must use a different technique to play, but the arrangement of notes are the same. Takes time accustom oneself to the strings instead of tines. I'm myself in the process! Good luck!

    It uses chromatic scale?

    • @yuyiya
      @yuyiya 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The standard tuning is the diatonic scale of C major. But you can tune it to any tuning you want! (Provided your strings aren't under too much tension. ) So, you could _probably_ tune it to a chromatic scale of 17 tones over a range of an octave plus a fourth, say C4 to F5.
      Or you could tune it to a diatonic scale in Just Intonation, using the ratios of small whole numbers, rather than the common tuning 12-EDO (12 Equal Divisions of the Octave).
      Your choice!

    Is it too hard to learn? I've noticed it doesn't follow the note order commonly found in lyres/ piano for example (C E G B D F A instead of C D E F G A B. )
