I miss my imps from the past.
Great channel and such knowledge of building and engineering.
    I salute you.

Nothing beats the throaty rasp of a tuned carbed engine. Mega build, and the lift on that camshaft, absolutely awesome 👌

The "professional" camera mount moving slightly actually worked, gives the impression of sitting in the passenger seat trying to keep your head steady on and off throttle. Nice job, thank you.

I can see why you'd be happy with that, the way that picks up RPM sounds more like a 4 cylinder bike engine 👌

Reminisant of my passenger ride in James Ibbotson`s Imp the other month at Curborough. with the in car footage..Thinking the imp was going to roll as it was far beyond my scope of hitting the corners i leaned into them like they do on a Motorcycle sidecar ..Loved it and enjoyed the video also.

Imps are such fun to drive (sorted ones I mean, not the standard suspension settings!) That engine looks and sounds a dream, well done mate.

I'm sure you did the professional camera mount to wind me up 😂 - your wooden plywood wheels for the win!
Engine sounds absolutely terrific, well done 👋

You can always tell a good mechanic by the tidyness of his garage, I worked for a bloke once who went mental when I tidied up, mine's not much better. looks remarkably like 3 sisters to me. Car looks and goes the bollocks. I'm due another Imp I think.

Great vid great drive, don't know what all the fuss was about imps much nicer than a mini if you knew how to change the coolant every year let's face it it's not rocket science flush out the sludge and put a bit of anti freeze in no problems

    The cam looks brutal.
Looks like the ones used in the cosworth dfv rebuild video on TH-cam as far as lobes go.
What duration/ rpm range is it?
