Perfect timing on the hinge tutorial. Thanks. I'm pretty sure my the glass in my donation oven is beyond rescue though😂. I'll rebuild it for a solar oven test anyway, so no worries. But seriously the hinge removal was just perfect timed for me.🙂
Great, thanks for the very clear demonstration. Helped me enormously with a neglected Whirlpool ixelium - 3 panes of glass to remove, but exactly the same principle with the fiddly hinges.

Hi Paul. Great tuturial as usual. Could you please make same kind of video about Bosch/Neff "Slide@Hide" system, how to remove, disassemble and service it correctly. I would be honoured to add it to my video tutorials library. Regards. Olex.
Glad you enjoyed it mate. All I'm trying to do is teach in the correct way that everyone understands. Hi, at 2:22 you said the hinges have a lot of tention and to make sure not to let them close as that will cause you a lot of problems..... well, one side of mine closed while the door was off the oven :( Im really struggling to get it back to how iit needs to be to get the door back on. Any suggestions?
might be too late but try holding down the door and pulling the hinge up with some metal tool with a long shaft, or grabbing a pair of pliers… If all that is in vain, then try to partially insert it into the oven and unlocking it

how do I know which is right side of the glass nearest to oven when re-inserting
It is normally the side that does not have the paint on goes facing inwards to the oven
It has paint on both sides I think.
Thanks

Don't drop the heatproof glass...£££ / €€€
That’s why I start off telling them to use a towel to protect the glass, but I’ll guarantee you someone will break one lol😂
