Glad to see that you've stuck around in the after-election, pre-inaugral period we're in. We need clear voices that seem to be true and direct. I've been following David Pakman for years. He's left-leaning but also has a similar, clear voice of reason.
Good to see you back Tom! I’d love to hear your thoughts on front runners for the Democratic Party and when and how we should move forward with the 2028 campaign…seems to me we need strong messaging, and I’m just not seeing anybody coming forward definitively as of yet. Too soon maybe? Haha…then again maybe not 🤔
Never too early - Trump started his 2024 campaign on election night 2020 with his denial of the results! I don’t see anyone staking a claim yet though 🤷♂️
Tom, I just got a chance to see this post. Glad to hear that your family is faring as well as can be after your brother in law's passing. I'm sure things will continue to improve for the family. It always does. Agree with completely on hiring practices. In a world of many multitudes of well qualified applicants, the best way to get beyond the anonymous screening mechanisms is to know someone. Most people know and are friends with their own type. So, I completely agree with you. Stay well and be always the good man I return to.
Great to see you. What a period of time we are living in, pretty remarkable. It is hard to grasp sometimes all rapid and sudden changes all around the world. I'm very careful about Syria's future. Country could basically disappear as a country and became the territorial hub for different powers. So, something to watch with caution for more turmoil in that region. Surprisingly, this time I agree with Trump, we better stay away from military involvement there and instead use diplomacy and support local powers who are not hostile toward us. Whoever was involved in terror activity, they could not clean their past, even if they want to, even so, one beast defeats another one. With Trump agenda about stripping birthright citizenship from the people, he was pushed by far-rights ideas about it, and him, as all far-rights being primitive and stupid, they didn't bother to look into international laws. All countries around the world have the laws about birthright citizenship, and if US not going to follow, it is US who will pay all legal fees and whatever material and emotional damage going to be granted by international courts to victims of Trump's administration stupidity. As for his idea to change the laws about double citizenship, I'm vary on this one with my internal principals, but again, being stupid enough, Trump administration didn't look carefully into regulations. US already not allowing to have double citizenship, it is another countries, whom more adaptive on this issue won't mind if their citizens would go with double citizenship. So, what Trump admin going to do about it? Put tariffs on those countries too? About third day I am being upset about what Congress have done. They approved bill to teach in schools about dangers of communism, but they didn't include in that bill teaching in schools about dangers of fascisms. And what more disturbing for me, that both parties voted in majority for this bill, which excluding dangers of fascism. Because whatever slowly is crawling right now within US through legislature, and in different fields of education and culture, has some obvious characteristics of fascism. One doesn't want to escape one danger by falling into another. Anyway, great that you are keeping track what is going on and giving your perspective on things. My regards to you and this community. Would be nice if your channel will grow and you could play with ideas of branding then.
Thoughtful as ever, Yelena! I agree Syria is far from settled and that we should not be picking any winners at this point. Similar dilemma to what Obama faced back in 2011 and 2012, there were simply no “good guys“ to get behind.
Tom I watch David Pakman quite a bit, he's a bit of a lefty but a very decent guy. Very thoughtful and measured. Unlike the majority of Trump's talking heads
I was not aware that your brother in law passed away, I am sending my sympathy to you and your wife and her family. Thanks for your videos.
Thank you Kathy 😊

Thanks Debi, we’ll try to help keep it interesting!
