Connect with each other, barter when you can. Share services and garden produce and skills. Be kind. We are all going to need each other. Give as little to the billionaires as possible. Spend local when you can. Eggs are still $3.50 at the farm store down the road and $7 in the supermarket. Be prepared to help less fortunate family members and others if you are so inclined. If you belong to a church, what is your Church's sanctuary plan? Because if a church can't provide sanctuary, who can? Just some ideas for peaceful resistance.

I'm so sorry for you and your wife's losses. That's so close together. I didn't watch yesterday. I find mostly I do better reading or listening to news from my various substack subscriptions including Heather Cox Richardson's Letters from an American. It's easier for me to keep up without actually having to hear and see the bizarreness. In our little family we are continuing to take all the steps possible to be the best prepared that we can be. Glad you're back as you are one of the few I can still watch.

I think this last election definitely tells the world something. The corporate interests/big companies own the US. What will happen to you and others like you? I wonder--will I be audited because I subscribe to this channel? i am a very very big free speech advocate. we ALL agree that you can't yell fire in a crowded theater. and, you can be sued for liable and slander. there are other lines -- fighting words, for instance. however: i am in favor of FULL free speech outside the pretty clear stuff we ALL agree on. the answer to speech you don't like is MORE free speech. And, people will evaluate speech - the stuff that does not hold up will not gain real traction. It never does. But, if it does gain traction - a better argument is the answer, not censorship.
