One of the finest airlines I have ever experienced. I had the bed suite and it was a wonderful feeling thousands of feet up in the air lying on a proper 6"4 bed. The services was wonderful, the food was as it was in this video and the Italianate interior were comfy.
if there is going to be a better class, then its beyond heaven. which NO airline can make better than singapore airlines. i would love to try beyond first but. everybody says its expensive, it is but its worth trying as a once in a lifetime. and say back on the ground: i ordered a roundtrip europe-australia with singapore and their beyond first class was amazing. one day my dream will come true
music was specially created for Singapore Airlines. The first song can be found in the Spacebed commercial. The 2nd song is new and made for the A380 suite product.
That's beautiful. My wife and I missed the first SQ A380 flight from Singapore to London on the 18 March by a few hours! We were on a 747-400 three hours behind... Oh well.I think they advertised the prices on CNN or smoething. a round trip from Paris to Sidney would cost... 11500 euros... I wonder if it's worth it...
wow the heaven must be amazing place inshallah, the more I see in this life the more I believe that heaven is wonderful place, OALLAH protect us from firehell and replace us in heaven with your mercy, Ameen.
@sharpe4295 it doesnt matter where you choose your seat, you will get the same suite.........The only difference is that the middle suites will combine into one big suite and will entitle you with a full queen size bed.
It's so much money but I'm saving anyway. I promised myself first class for the first time I fly to Japan! I believe It's about $18,000 for a round trip ticket in first class. But I don't care! Singapore Air is the best!
So how does it work? Does the ticket give you only one of the cubicles seen at 0:50, or does it give you free reign over an assortment of cubicles (ie a lounge chair room AND a bed room)?
You know your money is not wasted when you have a suite, with a door, a 35'' seat a 6ft 4'' bed and a TV with a shower and a bar and a resturant and a stwardess that has curves in all the right placs dedicated to your suite,
how much might it be NY-London in US bucks (assuming I'm not on the first flight, obviously) now? I would first fly in 2011/2012 because I will be 18 in late 2010.
Wow. Those suites are amazing! Compared to the Emirates ones (which I hate!) they are so much more classy. Emirates problem is that their suites are too glitzy and gold. I hate that. The best suite of all is Etihad's Diamond Class suite. It's amazing, like heaven! =)
cheapest way to fly in one of those: be a pilot for singapore airlines and deadhead on one of those flights where there's room and snag a suite for urself, or even better, snag a bed in the crew rest area, which are usually pretty comfortable themselves. no flight attendants nagging u there. at least in the US, first class (on 3 class planes) is usually filled with airline employees rather than paying customers.
SQ is very strict about having employees sit in the suites. Crew who usually deadhead on SIA usually sit in Biz or Economy. rarely first class let alone the suites
Thanks xxquicker for the quick knowledge. Only it isn't knowledge it's garbage. Airlines choose their layout and Qantas has suites in the front lower section, but Singapore airlines does not. There is no confusion with Emirates because it is the SAME layout.
Guess what people. So Im 12 and Im about to go to Singapore on this plane in the suites. Its gonna be really weird cause ill be in my own little suite and my parents will be like invisible. Kinda weird if your 12.
747 will be totally out of service with the A380 taking over it's entire routes. I can't imagine how you feel when you see 747s left at the sahara desert to rot.
What the hell are you talking about? How did Qantas get in this? First off all like silkusitk you to know nothing about the cabin layouts for SIA,EK QF. Qantas and Singapore Both have similar Layouts, only Emirates is different. My suggesting is go to Seatguru and in-still your self with some knowledge before questioning those who know what they are talking about.
Singapore Airlines have really done it this time! Emirates suites should be put to shame! Great but expensive at about $10000!!! And why would a person want to shower at around 35000ft when they could be enjoying themselves ab=nd making the fullest??? Emirate should be ashamed...
Almost disgustingly exorbitant, comfort is all well and good however this is something else entirely. Hopefully all the people who can afford such material gluttony can spare a thought for those who can't even afford an adequate meal for Christmas!
What's wrong with the rich splurging their money? I'd rather they spend their cash so a portion of their wealth will be channeled back to the public and trickle down to the poor than have them keep a bulging bank accounts. It's better that the rich are spending and stimulate the economy. Around the world trip for a first class is about 20k USD.

Never in a million years would I ever be able to travel like this.

one day my dream will come true
omg the A380 suites are amazinggg!! =D it really is like having a personal bedrm on the plane!
I've been taken two times now the suites, and it's SUPERB !!!
I went on suite class a few times and I gotta say it packs a punch for a small boy like me!
I find it a little amusing that elite travel accomodations on airlines are becoming more and more like private train cabins used to look. Beautiful.
Woah......Im definitely gonna fly one of those one day when i become a Pilot!!!!
music was specially created for Singapore Airlines. The first song can be found in the Spacebed commercial. The 2nd song is new and made for the A380 suite product.
wow! im amazed by the a380 it is one massive aircraft! i hv to fly this soon...
good god u make me wanna just order that first class ticket right away =DDDDDDD
OMG, I would LOVE this when I fly!!
Really nice.
omg the beeddd! looking at this makes me drool haha
Its just the way it was animated.....to give an idea of how a cabin will look with and without the bed but all of SQ's 12 suites have their own beds.
HELP!! The music starting from :30 seconds and ending at 1:55 is so awesome; it's really relaxing. Does anybody know where I can get it?

The FLVs were extracted from the SIA A380 website. The first 30 seconds are not SIA material though apart from the two pictures.

Where do these things fly too??? I want to ride on one :O
The single room suite is the best among the double sweater suite with and the bed suite because that suite has more larger space for yourself
One quick question... Where does the passengers who own the bed suite sit when the plane takes off/ land?? On the bed? =S
is there anything u can go on to on the internet to take a tour around the singapore airlines a380
how much might it be NY-London in US bucks (assuming I'm not on the first flight, obviously) now?
I would first fly in 2011/2012 because I will be 18 in late 2010.
Sory 4 asking..what happen if theres turbulance while they sleeping? Are they need to fasten safety belt when the signal on?

Just mix 2 suites together and there you have it, a Presidental Suite! :D
they have switches and stuff that go up and down and some suites just have beds and chairs

Best seats are front seats, nothing beats the pilot seat :> IMHO

@skylineXpert my thoughts exactly :)
Does it come with a complimentary hand job?
one day......
Just it. You can't buy class. Remember ! You can put make-up on a pig, yet it's still a pig. How i would love to fly like this.
Guess what people. So Im 12 and Im about to go to Singapore on this plane in the suites. Its gonna be really weird cause ill be in my own little suite and my parents will be like invisible. Kinda weird if your 12.

your comparing a Commercial Jetliner to a Presidential aircraft, where is the relevance in that?!?!?!?!!?
I wonder how many people get caught making mile high sexy time in these on each flight? I'll be booking one of these to Sydney this winter :)
just wait they are going to add bathrooms next lol.

BET THE FARE COSTS A BIT???
that sounds disturbing - i would not want a bomb when I fly ...

first class is luxury, this is taking it too far.
