I always haggle at yard sales. It's expected.
My kid used to go with me to the flea markets, garage sales and thrift stores. He would grab something he likes, but we always check the resell value first. The rule was to keep anything under $10 potential profit and sell anything $10 and up potential profit, unless he really wants it of course 😄. Nice haul!

That Bose was a killer find. I've sold a few over the years. Only parted out one of them that didn't work. Bose loves to use proprietary cables and connectors so the cords and all are just nice icing on the cake! And, for the record, I don't fault you at all for making an offer. That's the name of the game with yard sales!

I see people having those Amazon pallet sales and I always skip, assuming they got it cheap and have to bump the price past resale profitability to profit themselves.

Your last words about the Bose are why I would never do the TH-cam stuff. I want to get the best price and have the highest profit. If an adult settles on a price then it’s all good to go!

Hey you can't control whether people understand what they have for sale and know the value. It's always worth a shot trying to negotiate it down. And there's no way you could have left that frogger game behind, that will make a great piece of your backdrop even if it's not worth much 👍😊

Hey Buddy! I picked up another 50 cent item. It was an electric mini coffee bean grinder (gloria jean). I am sure you have seen them in your stores. Also got a like new surge protector for only 1.99! I am not making any of this up LOL.

Always haggle. She said it works to the best of her knowledge.... in other words "I have no idea if that thing works or not" It is the name of the game and they can always say no... The only time I don't haggle is if I know the item, I've sold it multiple times and it's under $5 and sells for $50+ There really is no reason to at that point in time. Also $1 items whether or not I know what it is.

I'm not a fan of amazon pallets either. Our local Swap Meet is inundated with sellers who purchase pallets from Via Trading - Sheeesh. Everything is a minimum of $25.00 a piece. I miss the pre-Via Trading days at the Swap Meet!

Hey Froggy. I saw Pete the Craigslist Hunter teach how to identify those small Bose speakers in a video once. Behind the cover is a date that helps identify. You have to be careful taking it off but he had a trick if I recall. If I find the video I’ll message you, or you could message him maybe? Thanks for the content!

I try i did long time ago i tried medium but bid a tad higher
Radio tubes are very hit or very miss. Some can go for $20-$30 by themselves and others you can get 50 of for $20 shipped. Lots of folks want to see how they test as well. Risky if you find a bulk lot of them but worth a look. Run a serial number and make sure the tube matches the box. RCA and GE did well by me. Silverstone and a couple others not so much.

Maybe go to estate sales feel creepy yes but can find older things there as family may have went through property after death or put loved one in assisted living or nursing home and family simply no room for the things
