@@kylegeldmaker I’ve had the Kaiju since about April. I absolutely love it. Takes a beating way better than my arrma’s. I do agree that the Kaiju should have come with a metal servo horn. Mine failed on the first drive.
@@volksuser I've been meaning to check with redcat to see if they made any updates (specifically about the servo horn) after the secret arm update and the recent price change.
Funny you say that, the day after i filmed this, I took the big rock out and I think I may have stripped a diff too. I'm going to work on that video next I think.
I bought some more of the sticky tabs, its low-tech but they seem to work pretty well. I have them on my punisher and my 104001. I've flipped the punisher several times and the tabs stay mounted, even with the extra weight of the punisher.
I think the main item you have to replace right away is the servo horn, the factory plastic unit has to go. After that I think the metal spur is a nice upgrade. I have a long term review on my channel if you're interested in picking up a Kaiju, or have recently purchased one.
I fear you may be correct. I was just on vacation last week and we drove from FL to TN and it really struck my how much of the beautiful landscape is obstructed by endlessly repeating billboards for crap we don't need. Especially, the last 50ish miles in GA south of TN, its literally billboard after billboard of the same "adult" toy store. Even on the commute, the greed is lurking to try and separate you from your money. It was pretty eye opening for me.

I blew a diff or input gear in my kaijue
I picked up another super secret Redcat last week and the rear diff was "shredded" :)
