Haha we are twinning. I made my hug hoodie with the same fabric I've had in my stash for ages. You have great taste in fabric/colours. The Roxy will look lovely in that green ponte xx
Good luck with your caddy, I have just made it and my word it did test my patience, and needless to say I won’t be making another, hats off to Adam, he makes them up so quickly, took me ages 😂😂
What a fun tshirt. I love French Terry too. Happy to see you wearing your fabulously fun fruity jumper. It makes me smile. You did need that Bat Man fabric. The Camden in denim would be lovely.
Make the Camden skirt as it's a classic style and you know it fits you well, and line it. That will make it more robust! As to cutting out, I understand entirely. I have a fold up trestle table I use to cut out, with table risers under the feet to bring it up to waist height so it's a right faff to set up. So I've found that batch cutting works well for me. Two or three things cut out all in one go, I store them in one of the numerous cloth bags you get given at events or just acquire until I have time to make them. It's a bit of a chore initially, but I know that future me will be thanking past me for having done it.
All great fabric choices. I am excited for your son, the batman fabric is going to be awesome 😁. My cutting out takes place on the living room floor so I know how you feel. Never enjoy that part of the project.
I'm in love with that Ponte fabric for the Heather dress! That is going to be stunning ❤. You have so many lovely bits of fabric, of all genres 😂. Can't see why you don't want a dress or something out of the Batman fabric?! I know what you mean about quick makes, sometimes we just want to play in our sewing rooms don't we 😂. Thanks for such a great video ❤ x
Yes fingers crossed the Heather Dress works out as I do love the fabric! Haha! I think my son would not be impressed if I made myself a batman dress and not one for him! 🤣 Sometimes a quick make is the way forward! X
Hello Hello Clare!I'm watching you. I'm slowly getting back into sewing. I did a lot of sewing in November and in December and then I got sick.😢 I'm all better now! Hope you are well.
Hi Clare, I've made the SOI Heather dress and really like it, and I have plans to make another one. Next time I will alter the neckline as I found it a bit too wide for a winter dress and so I made a cowl collar from some left over fabric and hand stitched it to the back neckline ( which means I can easily remove it in the spring.) I love the colour of your needlecord and was also going to suggest you make a lining for your skirt.
Hi Margaret , I will watch out for that on the Heather thank you. A lining on the skirt is probably the way forward and it is a lined pattern I just normally omit. Thanks for watching ❤️
Hi Clare, I’m watching you as I do my least favourite bit of sewing! Cutting out! I so agree with what you are saying. I have to move things around in my sewing room to do it and I just find it so tedious. Like you I am going to cut out 2 or 3 projects and then it’s full steam ahead! ❤
Cutting out is a faff! I often get my husband to do it as he is more precise and makes less mistakes. I'm always worried I am going to ruin the fabric. (Kelly) Dee is far braver than me 😂
The teal toaster is going to be lovely! And yes! Heather dress plans!!!!
Thanks Rachael. My heather is nearly done x

Oh thank you. Clearly you have great taste too!! Love that we have the same jumper. X

Thank you. Fingers crossed xxx

Thanks Christine, yes after not being sure about my fruity jumper I actually really like wearing it. Yes I think he will love the batman jumper x

Yes, future me is always grateful to past me!! It is more the thought of it than the actual doing it! Thanks for watching ❤️

I'm glad I'm not the only one that doesn't enjoy that bit. Thanks for watching xxx

I have the Heather dress made, great idea, I’ll sort my off cuts to make a cowl 🎉

I'm so glad I'm not the only that finds it tedious. But glad I could keep you company! X
Maybe the pietra shorts. They would look fab in that fabric 🤩
That's a nice idea. Food for thought. Thank you x
I’m fortunate that we have a pool table where I have a large cutting mat placed. It’s the perfect height for cutting
Oh yes that would be perfect size and height. How fab! Thanks for watching ❤️
Ooo clever cutting. It looks fab. 🤩
Thank you x
Make a session of cutting out and have some TH-camrs on in the background to keep you company whilst you do it 😊😊😊❤❤❤
I did exactly that yesterday. I think I just want to be sewing that's my problem. I just need someone to do it for me ! If only!🤣
Clare, maybe make the skirt but line it? Beautiful cord 😊
Yes I think that's the way forward. Thank you for watching ❤️
I think you could still make the skirt out of the needle cord, and it would look great, but lining it may make you feel more comfortable with it.
Hi, yes you are right lining it is probably the answer, I haven't bothered with my others as they have been with a heavier fabric. Thank you x
Great video
Thank you xxx

Oh what a good idea getting your husband to do it! I wonder if my husband would get onboard! 🤣
@@StitchHemSew worth a try 😂
Make a waist vest, weskit for petrol cord?
That is definitely a good idea
