Love the boys’ reaction to seeing Adam on tv. I use Mr Clean magic Eraser to clean my iron. I got that tip from my friend who owns a sewing shop.

Love that you share all your crafty makes!! Your hair looks fantastic! How brilliant Adam came to yours and how utterly adorable is that about your son and seeing him on the tv!! Too cute! I’d love to see your sewing space!!!!! Xxx

Hi Claire, love your makes and your hair looks fab. I use Sticky Stuff remover if I get any type of gunk on my iron, you don't need to heat the iron so no burnt fingers. I buy mine from my local Lakeland but you can buy it online. Have a great week. Xxx

Oh thank you. I don't think there are items you should or shouldn't wear. If you love them then you will be confident and then in turn it suits you. ❤️

Claire. I was like you with the wide trousers but then l made the Safiya trousers and love them. Although yours are black and difficult to see, yours look really good on you.

I use the block cleaner for my iron, works well. They sell the Vlieseline iron cleaner at Pound fabrics. EPP is great for garments, I made some up and quilted and made the tamarak jacket, looks good, any pattern with simple lines would work well.

Oh really thank you for the tip. Yes an EPP would be amazing! X

You have amazing luck. Congrats on winning a prize for sewfrugal. Just checked the prize winners. Your trousers look posh, you should wear them with pride. Thanks for talking about your iron issue. I am sewing my blouse together and mucked up my iron last evening. @christinesewsalot commented above that Magic Erasers , that's next on my agenda. Knowing how precise Adam is in his sewing, I figured he'd be an amazing hair stylist too... sure enough your hair looks fabulous. May I suggest using upholstery canvas fabric for the bed caddy. I haven't made one for my bed but I made a bunch of them for my son's campervan. He loved them. Happy crafting

I know I have been incredibly lucky with prizes lately. Yes the magic eraser sounds like a great plan. Good idea about the fabric for the bed caddies x

I use tweezers with the paracetamol. There us a block cleaner you can buy but I still found the paracetamol better been using stash hub since it launched, it's been really useful creating projects etc. Magic input for patterns makes life so much easier x

Yes Magic Input is what has made me want to use it more! Thanks re the paracetamol trick too x

I use the paracetamol and tweezers trick and it works on the iron. I’m always ironing the interfacing the wrong way 😂 I wish the glue was a bit more obvious.

Hi Clare!!! How are you? Your pants are pretty cool. How do you put in your cross stitch in the cards? Do you leave it like it is and just press it?

For cleaning the iron, if you mix a bit of bicarb and water to a paste and rub it on, that usually does the trick 😊

Your wide leg trousers are lovely. My iron is so grubby, I need a non finger burning solution too! The paracetamol trick is too fiddly for me and the tablets crumble.
