- Drivelapse video of Ontario's Highway 401 starting from the Guelph Line interchange west of Milton, easterly through the Greater Toronto Area to the Highway 35/115 interchange east of Bowmanville and then follows Highway 115 to just east of Peterborough.
Great lighting and beautiful summer day for a drive. Always enjoy a ride up 115 too. Nice work on the video!
The mighty 401! Fantastic drive as always mate. Happy New Year!!
Happy New Year to you as well
It was a nice ride on the 401 throught the entire GTA region as well as the 35/115 towards Peterborough. Happy new years, btw & I can’t wait to see what you have in stock for the year!
This video was filmed on my 25th birthday!
Nice way to start the year! Drove on the 401 from Cambridge to Mississauga multiple time.
Great drive! Hope you had a good New Year's Day!
My favorite stretch of road! I was born a few hundred feet away from it at North York General 45 years ago. My pregnant mother stuck in 401 traffic back then.
Safe travels to everyone out there in 2025, may this new year be healthy, prosperous and free, take care and bye for now from Thunder Bay, Ontario. P.S. Great music on this channel as well.
2:30 That’s a rare car coming all the way from California!
I’ve seen Ontario plates in LA before
1:05 and here’s one from Quebec although there are much more of those because Quebec is right beside Ontario. New York and New Jersey license plates are quite common here too.
Wow I live near that area and take those highways so the time
Do any of the HOV lanes in the GTA include reserved lanes for EVs and/or PHEVs similar to what they have in Quebec (like the A20 East coming into Montreal).
Vehicles with Green Vehicle plates are permitted in HOV lanes in Ontario.
401 ... .2 lanes ?
That's new bridge before the Hwy 25 exit, is that for Tremaine?
Yes, it's a new interchange they are putting in for Tremaine.
Nice Video!
They should build a tunnel from Mrs. Sauga to Markham.
Honestly, I’m not a fan of that idea personally. Do you know it would take several decades to carry out a project of this magnitude? I’ve heard it could take upwards of 30 years! Traffic in our region would be absolute chaos for a very long time (it’s already bad enough). Our city would be a bigger mess. What we really need is reliable and more expansive public transit. Unless you live close the subway, it’s not easy getting anywhere without fighting the traffic.
@@FreewayAndrewCAN thats true, but building a tunnel where the gardener is downtown would make more sense. It would tie in the city to the waterfront.
@@billyboy4797 yeah good point. It would be kinda nice if we had something similar to the Ville-Marie Tunnels in Montreal or the “Big Dig” in Boston. Especially seeing as they can’t really improve the Gardiner with what it is currently. For the 401 though it would be absolutely disastrous to try and build that underneath it for 55 km.
@@FreewayAndrewCAN exactly. Toronto has even more potential to become an undisputed world class city.
